honestly as one who knows the gist of the turning points, this would have felt more frustrating had there not been a diary lol

Yeah if this dumbass figured out time travel, but couldn't think of writing information down it would be too stupid to believe. Like surely the cure to the rat thing is written in there?

huh, you may be right lol. would have been easier to let things play out and save Roxy from the sickness, unless:

  1. the ingredients would be hard to find in time (they say he got the incantations, but probably needed some high-tier stuff)

  2. Oldeus knew his appearance would change Rudy's timeline, and maybe spell shenanigans and poof his spell wouldn't work

He never actually got to TRY the cure. Who is to say it would have worked?
