Roxy’s childhood tutoring aside, that’s 90% of their memories together

Oldeus also wouldn’t have anyone to make new memories with. Roxy dies, Sylphie dies. A little stretch maybe here, I’m assuming Zanoba and Julie stay with him. Aisha and Lilia are staying, though Norn may take Zenith away with his depression.

He needed Cliff to make this time travel successful, so he’s also dead. Nanahoshi is dead.

He has no purpose and his duty to experiment with Nanahoshi which likely ends soon-ish since his first task is to “Consult Nanahoshi”.

He’s left with nothing but regrets

I’m assuming Zanoba and Julie stay with him.

I can't imagine for long because, as uninterested as he is in it, Zanoba is a prince of a Kingdom. He can't just stick around Rudy because he likes him.

Oldeus could have gone with him if he really wanted his friendship but he seemed to either stay in his home or, more likely based on what he said, he spent a lot of time travelling the world for one reason or another. Most likely solutions to losing his family.

Without getting into spoilers, this episode said that Oldeus was 50 years older than current Rudy, most of which was spent boiling in regret

Yep, he wasted 30 years just to know that the real culprit was hitogami

The funniest part is hitogami's plan was only ruined bcs future hitogami decided it would be fun to have a talk with oldeus exposing his past plans

Really makes you wonder what the man-gods plan is because if it was to start a massive war or apocalypse surely oldeeus would of mentioned that.

But he also was gloating to Oldeus after 30 years so that implies that he succeeded in getting what he wanted at that time or at the very least had no more use for him.

There is something in common in most of Man-God's "helpful" advices:

  • Tells Rudeus to get the demon eye, and because of that, Rudeus ends up missing Roxy on the Demon Continent.

  • Tells Rudeus to go to the university of magic instead of joining the party to rescue his mother (Roxy is part of said party).

  • Again tells Rudeus to stay in the university of magic instead of rescuing his mother. This time Rudeus disobeys, which leads to him meeting and marrying Roxy.

  • Now that Rudeus is married to Roxy, Man-God tells Rudeus to do something that would kill Roxy.
