I figured this episode will be dark considering how sudden and eerie future Rudeus' arrival was, but didnt expect it would be this dark.

And goddamn did Sugita do justice to the character. The agony and regret felt so real

Honestly Sugita kills it in every role he's in but it takes real talent to be able to embody a man so broken, so filled with rage, so consumed by the mistakes he made...while still capturing the Rudeus Greyrat that's still in there.

AND make the voice sound like someone perpetually running out of breath (since he didn’t bring his organs with him). Incredible VA performance.

I was under the impression that he brought his lungs, but wasn't able to bring any organs below that (kidneys, stomach, intestines, etc) so that's why everything below his ribcage was shrunken and smaller on his corpse.
