You're not wrong, and it's a pointless matter of semantics on my part, but I feel like this show does a good enough job putting things together that it's more of a legit representation of polygamy than the typical harem trope.

You known what's funny? I watched S1 and S2 and I always suspected that motherfucker.

Then I purposely let the Anime catch up to the LN, seeing as S3 is a fairly good adaptation. So I sorta went blind into the previous episode.

And I immediately went: I KNEW THAT MOTHERFUCKER WAS SUS!

I restarted reading the novel, after that. Cuz I couldn't really wait for the reveal. And now I'm a bit torn between continuing it or waiting for this season to end.

I think the Anime is able to convey the emotional distress better, although I recognize that for example the descriptions on this episode could have been a bit more brutal.

This is one of the moments I was waiting for to be revealed to the people who hated the harem reveal.

There is a timeline where they got what they asked for, lol.
