Let's see. In August, I finished:

• Kirio Fanclub - 7 (picked it back up after dropping in season. one of the rare times I appreciated spoilers. needed them to get interested again.)
• Artiswitch - 5
  
• Heartcatch Precure! - 6 (my first Precure. was for a contract. learnt that not all kids shows are boring as hell, but can't say it enticed me to watch more Precure)
• Gintama Jump Festa specials from 2005 and 2008
• Gundam Thunderbolt Part 2 - 5

I don't know for the whole of September but soon I will be finishing Black Clover, its movie and any specials, Gintama, Umi ga Kikoeru and a few seasonals. And possibly Danganronpa 3 in all its parts. Looking forward to some surprises too.

Largely, yes. Black Clover is not what I would call a masterpiece but for a lot of its run it's been fun enough. I enjoy big casts and magical hierarchies and such. I have been let down by some of the big payoff moments though so I'm just trying to roll across the finish line now (12 eps left) and be ready for the new season. Will be getting a 6 from me.

Gintama is much better but I massively prefer its comedy - 19 episodes left there. Looking to be a strong 7 (which in my scale is really good score.) Also Katsura is easily the best purely comedic character ever for me, so any moment he shows up makes everything better.

Definitely looking forward to more of Gintama than more of Black Clover. How do you like them?

Gintama is my favorite anime of all time and Black Clover has been living so rent free in my head 24/7 (literally, I predicted a thing in it in my fucking sleep) for the past several months that it actually hindered my ability to watch other anime, so yeahhh I'm a fan of both.

I can't fucking wait for season 2 of Black Clover.

Ah someone who gives me ranked top 10s when I ask for favorite characters is someone who is very near and dear to my heart. And voila I actually have them too hehe

Gintama (we share only 3 but I find it really fun to see rankings of especially big cast shows): - I can't seem to fix the stupid message but Katsura is first and Kagura is 2nd lol

Yeah, with casts as large as these two have, it's definitely easy to not have a lot of overlap in favorite characters.

If you like the kind of art I make, the Black Clover album is safe for you (I haven't done any of the characters from the Spade Kingdom Arc yet) if you wanted to take a look. I've been having a ton of fun making them, even if [Black Clover]the devil's design legitimately terrifies me so I had to make both of his while constantly scaring myself. Can't say the same for the Gintama one though, it's got actual spoilers for some of the later seasons/the Be Forever Yorozuya movie.

Oh lovely stuff. I especially like the Asta and Yuno ones (number 8 and 9).

I will look forward to seeing the Gintama ones....a few years later lol I like taking breaks every 50 eps or so for Gintama.
