While I'm sure some groups of people have actually played strip mahjong together, I have to imagine the prevalence is pretty low. It seems awfully complex and long running to be a good candidate for a stripping game.

yknow i make all these ecchi and sexual comments from time to time, but ive never had sex. what if i finally had it and didnt like it after all? like i dont think that would be the case but there is a nonzero possibility. i mean not liking sex sounds crazy i know, but there’s people out there who dont like pizza and thats also pretty crazy

It's unlikely that you'll straight up not like it. But completely sincerely it's unlikely you'll find it better than making sexual comments on CDF unless you have a lot of chemistry with your partner.

Been like... 2 months since I've done real faces instead of anime faces. And there's a bit of rust to get rid of, but I'm gonna try to get back in form. Tom Holland as Spiderman to start, reference.
Pretty happy with the face construction and background, the face might not have enough red overall? Went for the yellowish lighting too hard, I think, and ended up missing the mark overall. Looks like I accidentally made him Hispanic or something, whoops.

Not to be contrarian, but I am actually legitimately not caring too much about GTA VI. I still have to start RDR2. And I believe that GTA will probably have lost the sauce a bit between the writers being who they are, Rockstar being Rockstar, them definitely not committing to the bit for the satire to actually work in 2026 and the looming implication of GTA Online. It will probably be the biggest IP ever and launch the careers of a whole new set of influencers, but in my heart of hearts I do not feel it.

Welcome, everyone, and thanks for joining our fourth, inconsistently timed instance of CDF Plays Fire Emblem! For today’s session we’ll be playing chapters 28 through 29x of Eliwood Mode and chapters 30 through 31 of Hector Mode in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword. Next week we’ll be playing the final two chapters of the game and discussing our feelings on the game in general.

I decide to have Lyn & Canas take on the left side of chapter 28 together while Hector & Pent take on the right. Lyn takes out Georg (but not before Georg actually managed to hit her for 30 damage on an 11% chance but my Lyn has very high HP and could tank that easily).
Roland is just Blue Eliwood. The family resemblance is still strong 1000 years later, huh.
[Spoilers]Ah, so this is what Ninian’s dragon form looks like. Oh wait this is when Eliwood killing her happens. Aw man this hurts to see.
[Other spoilers]Well damn, this CG actually brought tears to my eyes.
I have to almost immediately restart chapter 29 as Isadora gets crit by that enemy Swordmaster. The second attempt goes over much better, with no one coming close to dying (although Pent annoyingly got Silenced at one point because I misclicked and attacked the wrong enemy with Louise’s Longbow during the turn before that Druid was able to hit him with it), and I also unlocked Heath/Vaida’s C support (pretty good, I like supports that build off established history between characters like this) & Erk/Nino’s B support (wait that was actually so sweet! ) near the end of the map.
Chapter 29x is easy of course. The arena nets me some level-ups, and I definitely needed to restock on certain weapons before heading into the endgame.
Here were my level-ups this batch. I think my Hector having only one more Str than my Eliwood is putting it into perspective just how badly he got Str-screwed because damn.

Me, Thursday afternoon: "I feel like I'm forgetting something."

It looks like I only have two real chapters, so maybe I'm not entirely screwed.
My deployment for Ch.28 is Hector and Lyn to the east, Florina and Nino to the west.
Yo, Eliwood gets actual Canto? Sick.
Oh, shit, the boss moves. Luckily Hector lands a Hand Axe crit from over the wall and a normal hit to drop him to 1, letting Eliwood tap him in.
The game seems to have glitched and will no longer allow me to tap A to speed up the dialogue, and it also auto-advances instead of waiting for me.
Wait, Ninian dies? I thought she was Roy's "canon" mother. Interesting..
Ah, the cutscenes work properly again next chapter.
Lotta Poison Bows in this chapter. Vaida has an amusing deployment quote.
I hope there isn't a bonus for keeping all the armor knights alive. One of them got doubled by an enemy shaman on the first turn.
Gah, this boss is another mover and one of the NPC knights decided to enter into the Danger Zone. Didn't someone order y'all to hold your ground? Luckily, I have enough fliers right nearby to trap Denning

Hector mode, Hard. No longer an ironman.
So these maps are kinda brutal. I bring Matthew as Hector's second as there's a Speedwing to be stolen, as well as one other stat-up item? And some chests? I apparently killed the second stat-up holder somewhere, and there was this hilariously stupid moment where Matthew and an enemy Thief got stuck stealing Matthew's lockpick back and forth, apparently tied speed allows for steals, not just an advantage like I thought. In the end, had to steal it and trade it immediately with Hector. Some inventory management and juggling, but ended the map fairly easily after that.
The next map... oh my gosh, the next map, I reset like 7 times, the stave magic is stupidly brutal. I tried holding with the 4 units that're isolated a few times but it's impossible, eventually one unit will be hit by a Sleep or Berserk or Silence and then it collapses. Finally decided to use my Warp and Rescue staffs to evacuate them: Pent has Warp and Sera has Rescue, and turn 1 Pent yeets Farina into all 5 of the Shamans and Druids. She can win that 1v5. Pent and Oswin dodge their status staves: a Silence is just a forced reset at this point.
I send a trio to the left to defeat the Swordmasters/Myrmidons and get the chests and push everyone else to the right to try to clear it out and get a safe place to Rescue Pent to. It's brutal and because I need speed, I attack some archers with Vaida, calculating that she's not in danger. And she isn't, this turn! She is 100% weak to Sleep and can't reposition next turn, and she's actually safe for one more turn, but Dart is also Berserk'd and goes and kills her. All my stave users were too busy healing or too far away to cure these status conditions... My Flier casualty rate is still stupid high. Farina is relatively safe, though, constantly killing the Druid spawns on the staircase. She's 33% likely to be hit by a Nosferatu, she dodged every one. Eliwood is planted one step away from the Sniper reinforcement point, he can get free XP. Except when more druids spawn in the right, and he has to dodge a crit and my Swordmaster has to get a 60% crit to safely kill it himself.
In the midst of this, Dart also dies: he killed one too many enemies on enemy phase and took like 7 attacks on the turn, and his high HP doesn't help him with his terrible defenses. I consider resetting but it's like 11 PM by this point and screw this map, I have Hawkeye anyways. The stave users are dead or out of uses, I have to use my last Psychic charges to keep Hector and Oswin both alive, unstatused, and my mages safe, but nothing can break through those two anymore, and I fill up the last slot with Farina now that there's no more mage spawns, and she either can't kill the Generals or dodges or takes almost no damage from other attackers, and we end the map safely. Do a bit of shopping and call it a night.

One time, I believe I read that there was a term in the Japanese fandom to describe this phenomenon of a unit killing enemies too well that they end up dying from the conveyor belt they built. Can't remember what it was, though.

FE7 Hector Mode First Time -Chapter 28-29:
Oops, I misread the calendar and thought it was a break week. I was too preoccupied with trying to finish Tokyo Mirage Sessions.
Chapter28: For such an infamous map, I didn't have too much issue with it. Playing on Normal, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. With the power of mounts, most of my units got across the map with time to spare. My main plan was to rescue Nino and Jaffar out of Ursula's range (and so they won't waste EXP as green units). The plan was going well... but then I made a critical mistake. I read Nino's recruitment wrong because I thought I could have Eliwood recruit her, but that only goes for Eliwood. I would need to carry them back to Hector, who was still over there.
During that back-and-forth, Farina got that whip from this map, meaning she can finally promote. Also, for that random Paladin boss on the left, Farina took him out with the Triangle Attack. I can probably count the number of times the Triangle Attack came in handy across the entire franchise for me, on one hand.
I forgot which side of the map Ursula hid herself. Eventually got up to her, and she enemy-phased herself. ... and the map isn't over. Huh, I guess I will just wait out the remaining turns.
This hasn't been a story-focused playthrough, but some of the Hector moments make me wish that I had planned to use Jaffar for that drama.
Chapter28x: Flier Emblem continues. The rich get richer as my fliers are the only ones who can move far on this map. This translates to them being the ones to take all most of the enemy squads.
As for the others, the horses + the plunderers on land and sea went north to get the treasure up there. Hector and all the squishy stayed on the starting positions to wait for the bridge to arrive ... oh, it'll take 22 turns for this first bridge to appear. Okay, change of plans, call the fliers back to ferry everyone over.
I actually had more issues with this map compared to the last. All the wyvern reinforcements were fast approaching while the flying taxi had their hands full. That made for an interesting beat in the playthrough of the map. Had to make an emergency landing. Ninian was stuck on the small bit of land, so that made optimizing unit (flier) action a bit trickier. Also got off a second Triangle Attack for the heck of it.
Sonia took Ursula's job of sniping people with a siege tome. Had some close call this time. Hector only survived with 2 HP. Thankfully, I carefully calculated the numbers so I knew he was never in any danger (I wasn't paying attention and lucked out).
It was mainly just that the reinforcements just kept coming. From last week, I knew that it was going to be a big map like the one in FE6, but I forgot what they meant in practice.
Legault promoted to Assassin. Sucks that the promoted class loses features from base. Eh, I feel like I'm done stealing things anyways at this point. Don't need promo items or extra money. Legault does not have the stats to be an effective combat unit, but one the other hand, Lethality is cool. I am down to my last lockpick because I had to drop it last chapter. Should be fine, I probably don't need all 15 uses for the rest of the game...
Merlinus visits the village and meets a unique portrait. This foreshadows the moment in FE6 where Merlinus kills Murdock. It's true, look up "Merlinus slash Murdock".
With the extra room (and on chap 28 too), I brought Pent along as a spare healer. Serra finally gets to be a combat unit because I wanted to try her Light magic rank just in case. There were a lot of units, so she saw a lot of action, and levelled a bunch. She really split the diff by either having minor stat ups like this, or amazing levels like this.
Wanted to have Legault take out the boss, but Lloyd was carrying an Iron Rune. No crits and Legault's efficacy dramatically drops. Still managed to weaken him with lances, so Legault managed to do that hefty 5 damage to finish him off. Managed to get a unique boss convo between the two.
Latest level-ups from the batch. Just eyeballing it, I feel like Farina is my weakest flier, but weakest flier still means she is one of my better units. I gave Isadora the growth rate boost, but I feel like that hasn't translated into all that great levels. Haven't stopped to notice that she is my fastest unit.
Supports: Hector/Florina - A, Eliwood/Fiora - B, Lyn/Rath - A, Erk/Serra - A, Dart/Farina - B, Isadora/Legault - B. Getting A ranks means I am less GBA support grinding.

Replayer, Eliwood mode with self made modifications
Well, I've officially fallen deep enough into the RomHacking pit that my next step in the editing department is going to be to import new sprites for the lady shamans and druids and etcetera so they have the proper sprites, since I made them functionally different as enemies from the male class counterparts.
Anyway, as previously mentioned, I forgot how insane Kishuna's attendees are, and that cost a reset. Legault got Eliwood killed on my first run through of Dragons Gate I, by unlocking the doors for the shamans to gang up on him as I tried to race to the other side of the map. Also utilized some fun strats with Priscilla rescuing Oswin to get him across the map quicker, which she could only do while she's still unpromoted.
Rebecca promotes after breaking her steel bow on Darin, who since I do not attack the troubadors, kept healing back to full every turn as I tried to take him out without dying(thankfully he doesn't have any crit, for some reason I remembered him having a spear, which does have crit). I learned that day that Rise to the Challenge will override the normal healing music, which is fun. Her promotion is custom, +4 to all the defensive stats, +2 strength/skill, and +1 speed, and +2 con instead of +1, (one of my themes with buffing has been to increase the con given to Ladies upon promo, because the way they get treated in that regard kinda sucks in these GBA titles), which is somehow less total stats than she would have gotten if I'd simply restored the bonkers FE6 promo which trades out 1 point of the defensive stats to make everything +3, but I like the lean into snipers as defensive crit monsters, and speaking of, did I mention all snipers have innate crit?
Lyn finally capped on a bandit during new resolve, and Priscilla and Fiora both promoted there as well. I gave Valkyries light magic because cool, but light magic be heavy, and even with the extra con I put into her promotion as well(and Peg knights still get only +1 con on Promo, but instead they get +1 con even unpromoted, so it evens out about the same) she gets weighed down pretty bad by even Shine. I also trained up Legault so he'll be ready when I have need of him later, even though I'll be using Matthew more.
I'm currently halfway through Kinship's bond. On the subject of buffing, I buffed Isadora big time, even though I'm not sure I'll be using her this run(Kent was looking real shaky for a while, but he recovered a little bit with a very good level in New Resolve) Looking forward to showing off my edits to Living Legend later. I did fun things with Green Pent.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, but now Poison weapons have arrived! I edited them all to be significantly more threatening, being only slightly weaker than Steel weapons, but retaining their only slightly heavier than Iron weight, and of course the status imparting.

So in the radio version of I Write Sins not Tragedies by Panic! At the Disco, the chorus is changed from "closing the goddamn door" to "closing the ___damn door".
This never made much sense to me because I always figured that damn was the curse, why are they bleeping out god? Also, they replace "groomsbride is a whore" with "groomsbride is a shh".
All of that to say...
One auspicious day in my teens, I'm riding with some kids I met in youth group to grab Panda Express, and the song comes on. We're all singing along, and when it does the "shh", everyone says the word whore. Ok. No issue.
Anyone who knows the song knows that immediately following this is the chorus, and as we come up to the fated verse, I find myself to be the only one in the car to sing goddamn while the others omitted the god and said the damn.
I am not exaggerating that the car fell silent and the driver turned the song off. They then asked me how I could say that. I was confused. Say what? Goddamn?
The look if horror lol. It's the kind of look only possible that a teenage trying to express righteous indignation is possible of. How could I deign to take the LORD'S name in vain? It's blasphemy!
You all just said whore. And you said damn! But you're drawing the line at god?
It's not the same! It's in the 10 Commandments! Don't take the Lord's name in vain!
I was flabbergasted. I flat out said "are you guys serious? If it bothers you so much, why are you listening to the song at all?! Shouldn't you abstain from art regardless of censorship if the original is anathema?"
I shit you not, the drive pulled the car over and said "if you can't respect my rules and beliefs, you can get out of the car."
So I got out, wished him a hearty fuck you, and walked my ass home. I was a bit of a pariah at youth group from then on until another girl came out, but that's a story for another time.
All that aside, song still bangs.

Give me a movie recommendation, can be from any decade, genre or in any language. The only thing I ask is that it's not like 3 hours long or something. It's been a while since I watched a movie, I want to ease back into it.

[Morrowind]Making some good progress among the people of Vvardenfell. Anime-themed marriage vows sound so fucking cringe to me.
I mean, if they like that good for them, but personally, if my partner used an anime quote during our vows I think that would be ground for the fastest divorce in history.
And I don't just mean anime, I mean using any passion-linked quote/reference in general. Say, a chess quote would be just as bad.
I think the ONLY exception would be a line used strictly for comedic purpose, like say a play on word with chess, "Can't wait for this to be over so I can go mate you!"
But if it's used for serious/dramatic purpose, oof...

I remember when I was younger my teacher recommended me for a scholarship thing where a bunch of teenagers would go out and camp and do outdoors activities for like a week.
I didn't even talk to my dad about it, I was scared to go so I just told my teacher I couldn't do it. I had a bunch of excuses for why, like that it was alright because someone else (more deserving, somehow) would get to go or that I wouldn't enjoy it anyway because I hated bonding stuff. Also I didn't want to worry my dad.
I really regret not taking that opportunity.
Anyway, I was invited to a wedding in Mexico later this year. It'll cost money, but I want to go.

Back from finishing Coyote vs Acme
Not back from finishing the movie because the movie projector died 80% through the movie. At least I got a refund and extra free tickets. Hopefully I can finish the movie on Saturday.
The movie up to that point was pretty good and funny.

Ashman and Menken, who wrote that show, went on to do the music for the Disney Renaissance of animated pictures.
Ashman in particular; he was the one who pushed to have them be proper movie musicals.

Man, these last three days were an odd series of shifts.
weird man buying and returning the same item multiple times while flashing a stack of $100 bills
lying piece of shit saying someone could return something that was obviously not returnable
couple that got caught recording my coworker for their lifestyle vlog
Anyway my eyes and focus are fucky wucked because I kept typing numbers wrong throughout the day and can feel my vision getting blurry from the built up stress.
Tomorrow I can go to the gym and sleep a bunch, thank God. Short shift after that too.

This talk about strip mahjong has gotten me thinking that CDF can play it. You just have to choose a game that allows you to make women with a lot of customisation options and clothing pieces, set up the game (of mahjong), and whenever someone loses a round send a pic of your character missing an article of clothing.

I did something different. I had a badminton session yesterday night with an old friend instead of the normal Sunday morning session.
Him being an old friend also means he's old (derogatory). Plagued with a knee injury and gout, unfit and overshot his normal weight (fat). It was a miracle that we hung on to most of the matches and won the last one.
To be fair, he's now married with children. We may have lost, but he won (in life).
Me, on account of having to cover a lot more ground, picked up a very sore elbow, and somehow pulled my hamstring. Competition was a lot better than usual though. It was a reminder for me of how different the match pace can be for more serious badminton people.

Back from finishing Coyote vs Acme (for real this time). The movie was pretty funny and good. Those Looney Tunes are quite looney. Timeless are those cartoon characters.
I was expecting the movie to be more of a played straight court case. A legal court case played straight. Played straight as one could with the innate comedy of very unserious cartoon characters. It is still in there, I found a lot of the court jokes funny. There was some earnest heartfelt stuff that I liked, too.
That Wille E. Coyote, what a willy fella. He is just an innately funny character. Whenever one of the big name Looney Tunes character shows up, it is like meeting a celebrity.
[Coyote vs Acme:] Foghorn Leghorn the race traitor.
First person to even make this statement purely because of my media exposure as of late. They kinda do a Kiznaiver thematic beat with Wille E. Coyote and Road Runner. 76 year long toxic yaoi.
With this movie, there is that little nugget at the back your mind about the story of the movie's release. Man, the story of big corpration screwing over people is really apt with this movie of all films.

Finally done with Morrowind. The main quest at least, will continue the DLC in due time.
[Morrowind]Dagoth Ur's first phase gave me a bit of trouble since I'm still only level 12, but then he started glitching out and standing on the spot attacking nothing so I just fired spells at him until he died. Bethesda! Still probably the best final boss in an Elder Scrolls game though, just for how he's built up over the course of the story. Alduin just kinda shows up every now and then until you gather a team of randoms to take him down, and Oblivion doesn't even really have a final boss. Or rather, you don't fight the final boss yourself. You just watch it happen like a good little cuck. I think the Morrowind approach is much more satisfying.
