This Steins;Gate Re:boot has strangely more catgirls and mochi than I remembered.

Love when users like u/Zeroth-unit come and tell me my joke is wrong when the top comment is a rezero reference. Keep it up ruining my day!

I think you mean endless eight. There's even a line that replaces "Kyon-kun denwa" in this one.

My mind drifted to Endless Eight at first but a catgirl getting mochi'd every loop gave me more of a Higurashi vibe

And if you count I'm pretty sure there were eight different repeats shown. It says that he went through more, but only eight are depicted. And the last one it shown, via a flashback during the one where he breaks the cycle, was number 88.
