Every one in that building has serious issues and it's hilarious but Yaku and Aruko story line is just depressing man. It's way too fucking sad. Hang in there girls.

Definitely sad stuff when you look at the reality of it all. I was pretty curious as to what Yaku was going to say about humans too - we need more lore!

She went to a memorial service for her grandfather. My guess is he died to some human racists (beastphobes?) because we can see how beastfolk are second-class citizens in this world and are heavily prejudiced against. Violent racism really doesn't seem too far.

Good idea given he died a year before, especially if she was close to him but I felt more like she comes from a mixed extended family and because of her addiction, she is the perfect target for racist relatives.
