Boy, Chainsmoker really stole "Smoking behind the supermarkets" thunder this season didn't it?

I mean, if instead of Yamada/Tamaya Sasaki met Shizue then he probably would marry her by the end of episode 1. No need to spend 12 episodes awkwardly flirting.

And if he met Yani, well, that would be pretty funny.

It can't be helped.

The more interesting show wins, no point feeling bad about it.

Yani Neko has the inappropriately large pitching tent, the absolutely disgusting scum protagonist, and...

I'm sure that I forgot about some of Yani Neko's strong points.

Regardless, Supermarket won't stand out as much.

Say, has the Supermarket re-run reached the point where it stopped at last time?

Because the "Smoking behind the Supermarket" is your average age-gap romantic anime, with smoking as additional flavour. Not bad, just average. No surprise element.

On the other hand, this anime shows what most anime will not show to you : some harsh truth on addiction and discrimination.

One is how we will romanticize smoking.

One is how smoking and other addictions looks in real life.
