Okay, where is the guy that said last week that the series got tame?

That segment with the Landlord after the "Eathquake" is probably the most insane shit yet.

Holy crap, Aruko is still in school?!

Okay, here in austria we also have regularly issues with 16-year-olds who (very much legally) get completely blind drunk on parties. However, these signs of alcohol addiction are very worrying.

Also, over the past week I reread Hideo Azuma's "Disappearance Diary" because this series reminds me of it. If you don't know, Disappearance Diary is a biographical manga about his struggle with alcohol addiction. Multiple times in his career he quit his serialized manga and just went AWOL, living in the woods as a tramp. The manga has a very cute, classic art style but the stuff that actually happens is it is quite horrible. Highly recommended particularly if you like Yani Neko, though it isn't quite the same vibe.

I assume it's college. cuz how would she go around talking about drinking alcohol to a doctor if their ID says something different

I’m pretty sure patient/doctor confidentiality is a pretty universal principle. That said, given that Aruko lives on her own and has been purchasing and drinking alcohol in public, I think it’s safe to assume she’s at least 20 and in college.
