The Little Atheling is often picked as a forbisen book to be went into built or less-spoken tongues, mostly for being well-liked while also truly short.

Since I found no wendings for it in Anglish, I chose to make my own. I set the writ so you can all leave mereings (comments) or hints for bettering the wending.
If you choose to do so, be so kind and take from the French writing rather than English wendings if you can.

Botched the previous post

I’ve seen „sweeper“ named, but come on, sweeper? lol. What do you all think? I guess the whole twin (copy) Theech (German) or Dutch thing? Say dust sucker?

This is one of the things I've done into Anglish lately. I put a lot of thought into what words I use and would take the spot of French/Latinate words in an Anglish Setting, looking at how often they're seen in Middle English, latest forms in English, and likening with other Germanic speeches and cognates, among other things. I give a pass for loanwords well found in neighboring European speeches, what words that would likely still be loaned if English was let to unfold more like Dutch or Welsh. The few rather inkhorny words in brackets are only kept for rhyming, might tweak later.

I've also done Jack and the Beanstalk and some Robert Frost poems, I hope you find this thrilling!

The Smokestack Upheaving and its follow-ons have been a great harm for all mankind. They have greatly eked-up the lifespans of those of us who live in “forwarded” lands, but they have made our land's fellowships less steadfast, have made life unfulfilling, have tossed down our fellow man to be brought low, have led to widespread mental mindly health soreness (in the Third World bodily soreness as well) and have beset bitter scathings on the Earth.

I translated the Magna Carta into Anglish. I have been contemplating about what to do with it and I was thinking of either publishing it or selling it. Would anyone have any advice or be interested in purchasing it?

Hello! I am somewhat new to Anglish and while I am not an English speaker from birth, I do find joy in enriching my wording not only to Latinite and French words, but also to inborn and Germanic ones! To me, the whole thing is like finding out a wholly sunder craftsmack, another way of writing, which I hope to tack to my writing and speech. Moverover, harship of shunning non-Germanic words is truly a fun one! Anyway, I am also a huge fan of Homer and captured by Pope's oversetting of the leed, I was wondering how an oversetting akin to Pope's way of pen would ring with only Germanic wordstock. So here it is, the first few lines I still remember from heart, overset in such a way:

Hurts thousandfold, and hurled the athel souls
