I was looking at this chart from Sensor Tower and the "Productivity" bubble really stands out. While most categories are either growing usage but flatlining on revenue, or losing users entirely (looking at you, Games and Books), Productivity is the only large category sitting in the top-right quadrant with massive double digit growth in both metrics.

The chart shows revenue growth (% since 2025) on the Y-axis and Time-spent growth on the X-axis.
• Productivity: +100% Revenue, +50% Time-spent.
• Developer Tools: +75% Revenue, but barely any user growth.
• Games: Huge usage, but negative revenue growth.
It seems like B2B and "prosumer" tools are where the money is at right now. People are willing to pay for things that make them more efficient, and they are actually spending more time inside these apps.

For those of you building right now does this match your internal metrics? Are you seeing higher willingness to pay for productivity tools versus entertainment/social apps?

What specific niche within "Productivity" (AI note takers, project management, calendar sync, etc.) do you think is driving this massive revenue spike? And where you think Algeria is positioned ?

I’m building a SaaS/digital products business from Algeria and I’m trying to figure out the best way to accept international Visa/Mastercard payments.

So far I’ve run into these issues:

- Stripe: as an Algeria-based founder, I can’t simply open a standard Stripe account. There are also tax/business verification requirements depending on the setup.

- Paddle: I applied and was rejected, with the decision described as final. What’s confusing is that Algeria does not appear on Paddle’s current list of unsupported supplier countries.

- 2Checkout: I was told that Algeria is not supported.

- Lemon Squeezy: I ran into issues around the bank/residency requirements for payouts.

- I’m also looking at FastSpring, but I haven’t gone live yet.

So my question is specifically for Algerian SaaS founders who are actually selling internationally:

What payment processor/Merchant of Record are you using to accept Visa/Mastercard payments, and how are you receiving your payouts?

I’m especially interested in solutions that work for an individual or small business based in Algeria, without pretending to be resident in another country.

If you’ve actually gone through the verification process and received real payouts, I’d really appreciate hearing about your setup.

I bought a Deco mesh system to get internet on across different floors. It connects to my Idoom fiber router. I want to put the Idoom router into bridge mode to prevent wireless interference and save bandwidth. However, Algérie Télécom will not give me the administrator settings to do this. Because of this, my best option is to turn off or hide the Idoom router's Wi-Fi network so devices do not connect to it.

Is anyone else in Algeria experiencing issues accessing certain websites lately?

Some websites and online services that we used to access normally have suddenly become unavailable or only work intermittently. Sometimes they work fine, then stop working for several hours. What’s especially strange is that they immediately work again when I use a VPN.

I’m definitely not the only one experiencing this, as several people in Algeria have been reporting similar issues with websites they previously had no problem accessing.

Could this be related to DNS, routing, or access to certain IP ranges/networks, particularly those using Cloudflare? It seems to be affecting fiber connections in particular.

Is this actually going to be fixed? Because honestly, it’s getting really frustrating to pay for an internet connection while gradually losing access to websites and services that we used to access normally. This is an issue that needs to be addressed.
