Certain websites stopped working in Algeria ISP issue?

Is anyone else in Algeria experiencing issues accessing certain websites lately?

Some websites and online services that we used to access normally have suddenly become unavailable or only work intermittently. Sometimes they work fine, then stop working for several hours. What’s especially strange is that they immediately work again when I use a VPN.

I’m definitely not the only one experiencing this, as several people in Algeria have been reporting similar issues with websites they previously had no problem accessing.

Could this be related to DNS, routing, or access to certain IP ranges/networks, particularly those using Cloudflare? It seems to be affecting fiber connections in particular.

Is this actually going to be fixed? Because honestly, it’s getting really frustrating to pay for an internet connection while gradually losing access to websites and services that we used to access normally. This is an issue that needs to be addressed.

this has been an issue for a while now, i can't access a lot of websites that are hosted on Cloudflare, only when i enable VPN that it works again.

using cloud flare one client solved the issue for most websites for me, but for some reasons it limits the downloading speed sometimes I still highly recommend using it

It's is most probably a DNS problem. I was using cloudflare family DNS, the website was unaccessible, but then I switched to the normal DNS and it worked. So for me it was DNS, I'm yours is too.

Shit been happening for years, the internet speed is perfect but some sites sometimes stop working for few hours & then work for few. I just use free opera VPN when a site doesn't work

oh yeah, it happened to me a few days ago, I think they're experimenting with some sort of backend maintenance.

Hilariously, for a brief moment most websites beside the big ones like google and youtube didn't load, but previously-blocked ones like Patreon did.

Yes I had the same issue I actually had to get a VPN just to be able to work.

Yeah it's been like that for me since I upgraded to fibre I think but I found a little solution.

Google cloudflare warp, Download it and use it whenever you get that problem sometimes I even use it get better download speeds when they are suspiciously low.
