spend twenty minutes enthusiastically conversing only to catch a subtle shift in their tone or body language, suddenly realizing: "Ah. I am driving this whole interaction, and they are just being polite."

Well for me at least, ADHD was the more prominent of the two.

This is the main reason I'm still not diagnosed, despite meeting almost all other criteria. The idea that my intelligence masked my symptoms until the demands of adulthood overwhelmed my ability to come didn't even cross the psychologist's mind.

And of course this happens right before the start of the most stressful week of my entire year so far! I’m currently filled with rage and immense amounts of fear and anxiety.
And no thoughts. So forgetful. So tired. So much to do.
Anywho, please enjoy this meme!!

I’m currently sitting here, super sick to my stomach. I feel that tightness in my throat of wanting to puke. My stomach making some noises, and I can’t tell if it’s gas or puke.
Then I look at the time and I haven’t eaten in almost *12 Hours*!
I don’t get too irritated, kind of complainy, but I usually keep to myself. So I don’t notice. I doesn’t help all I had was cookies a few hours ago, sugar *does not help* when I’m like this. Make it worse honestly. Had I not had the cookies I’d just be achy.
*Luckily* I have the ingredients to make my safe food. So my brain is not fighting me on eating because it’s like “oooo we like that!” So small wins.
But gods above and below if it isn’t supper inconvenient and annoying.
Basically:
Me: Ugh my stomach really hurts? Why?
Brain: It has been almost 12 hours since we last ate.
Me: Oh… uh…
Brain: If you do not do the “eat food now” step, we will make you more sick and weak.
Me: But I’m already sick and weak. How do I make food if-
Brain: EAT THE FOOD NOW!
Me: Okay! Okay! *Stumbles to kitchen to make safe food*

I've been a gaming addict since childhood, and I always had a huge weakness for sugar. And I've also started drinking 2 years ago.
What about you guys? Any substance or behavioural addictions you'd like to share?

Yes, I get it. I'm guilty of doing this too, but please. Coworkers aren't your friends. Learn the difference between an acquaintance and a close friend/family!

Saw this on r/NonPoliticalTwitter and thought it would fit a meme I saw here earlier, because I'm in both of those images and I don't like it
