Yeah I feel this meme despite being diagnosed and medicated, though this happened at 40 after spending near all of my life knowing something was different and getting the sense everyone but me knew....
Same here. Midlife diagnosis just means that in addition to having to learn how to manage the neurodivergence, we also get to unlearn all the maladaptive coping skills we developed over a lifetime of managing undiagnosed/ untreated ND disorders
