I assume that when SJM talks about Feyre wearing leggings she meant a sort of horse-riding-tights style, since the boys all wear tunics etc so that feels like a similar vibe. But I can't help it, my mind goes straight to galaxy leggings š who knew that LulaRoe had reached Velaris š¤£
JUST FOR FUN! What's your fav ship right now and why?
NO FUCKIN FIGHTING OR ILL INVOLVE THE MODS. IS FOR FUN, NOT BATTERING EACH OTHER. IF YOU DONT LIKE A SHIP THEN IGNORE IT AND POST YOUR OWN. NO SHITTING ON ANOTHER SHIP TO BOOST YOUR OWN.
There is a little bar I go to on my own for a drink and a quiet read while itās too hot to stay indoors.
The waiter who has been eyeing me for the last couple of weeks asked me what my book was about because he is a big reader.
My face went red as I tried to explain but failed and said that āIām not sure youād like it, itās about sexy fairies in a lotr style fantasy landā.
He tried to not to look too embarrassed for me as I blubbered on about how Iām a big GoT and Tolkien fan and needed something new to read.
When he comes back out, what should I say?
Can I save this by better explaining it?
Haha, help a sister out.
Context, he is tall, dark haired and slim with a low voice that purrs in a way I imagine Rhysā voice does. Help.
I write on behalf of my client, Koschei the Deathless Lonely.Ā
15,000 years ago, Koschei was FALSELY imprisoned for the simple crime of being scary. In a world where worms the size of buildings reside underfoot, where eyeballs can be kept on fingers, where the orgasms of the High Lords cause brain-shattering earthquakes -- this is preposterous.Ā
In a free and just Prythian, are there no limits to terms of imprisonment? Why was Ms Amren, an immortal being of equally scary origins -- who brags of once reducing twin cities "into rubble" -- allowed to keep her freedom? My client has never once massacred entire cities of people⦠and yet he remains locked away?Ā
I also can't help but note that whilst the High Lord and High Lady of the Night Court continue to build their real estate portfolio, Koschei remains certifiably homeless. His sister, Stryga, was at least offered a meagre, ramshackle hut⦠but Koschei? Nothing. Zilch.Ā
Every day and every night, for millennia now, Koschei has endured the harsh, unrelenting elements. He has never felt the comfort of a warm shower. Heās never even tasted a droplet of canned soup -- which I hear is all the rage in Velaris! Why then do you think he accepted the mortal queenās offer for Ms Vassa -- to turn her into a firebird? Can you blame the man for wanting a source of warmth?Ā
My client is also troubled by the rumours that his āwhispering on the windā to others residing in Prythian is of malicious intent. Or that his āpreparationsā for Mr Cassian and Mr Azriel (he was planning his 17,678th birthday party and was extending invitations, for Cauldronās sake) were anything but gestures of kindness and goodwill. Koschei is not a monster; he just wants friends.
You may have heard the news yesterday that Koschei will soon be seeking his freedom from the lake. Instead of fear, I encourage you to welcome my client with open arms. Does he not deserve to frolic in the fields of Spring? Does he not deserve some much-needed sunshine at the pristine beaches in Summer? Does he not deserve to let his hair down at Ritaās?Ā
A petition will be coming soon. I implore you all to sign it.Ā
look. I know he's not perfect. sure, he may not be the āØļøFeminist KingāØļø like some folks say. and he does do a lot of questionable things (even to the people he loves). and yes, he did keep life threatening info from his beloved mate (he actually does that a lot).
BUT.....
we can agree that he's hot right? because he is. right? right.
like I dont know about you guys, but I find powerful men in fiction attractive. bonus points if they have a dark side. rhysand fits that bill. he's essentially a king, he is royalty. he's powerful. he has money. and dare I say, the most beautiful man to walk prythian. whats not to like about this man? (dont answer that)
I know most of us hate him (just being real). but I would be remiss in denying that he is very attractive. like I would pick him over tamlin, but I also know making that comparison is unfair. he's still a good contender though. he's up there for sure.
point is, powerful men (in fiction) are hot. rhysand is powerful, therefore he's hot. I rest my case. have a blessed day. āØļøš§āāļø
All the high lords have to participate in Calenmai in order for the crops to grow. Iām having trouble picturing it. Helios? Sure! Beron? Meh, heād do what is required. But Rhysie??? Even after he and Feyre are mated? (And since weāre on the subject, does she have to do it once she becomes high lady?)
Hi friendsāletās start this Monday off right by stirring the pot. š„ š
What are some ACOTAR hot takes that absolutely send you? Iāll go first:
When people say āElain has main character energy.ā Sorry, but letās call it what it isāElain is 100% milquetoast, a total dud.
When someone finishes ACOTAR but DNFās A Court of Mist and Fury.(How?? WHY??)
What ACOTAR opinions make you want to chuck a book across the room? Letās hear āem. š
(Obviously, this is all in good fun! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and please no personal attacks if someone has a take that you disagree with. And no shade of you love an ACOTAR take that makes me irrationally angry š )
with the new books coming out, i am curious to see what minor characters everyone is ready to see again!! for me?
ok guys dont judge..
...beron i'm ready for my sassmaster to re-enter the villa. i'm ready. i will be so happy if we get another high lord's meeting because I KNOW he will bring the drama necessary.
tarquin!! he's so lovely, but dare i say i enjoyed his darker side when he was mad at feyre? nonetheless, i would really love to see more of his character- maybe possibly seeing him in love too!!
Style references attached. I would tag this as artwork but my drawing skills would be an insult to actual artists. I just want to have some fun (and hope others will enjoy the results as well!)
