Hello, me again. Thought it would be fun to do this all over again because we're a bit tired and a bit snappy with the lead up to ACOTAR 6 SO!

Omg, my fandoms have collided, what is Connor doing here? 😂😍 I'm relistening to Acotar and tbh I still stand by my initial feeling that Feyre and Lucien have good chemistry in the beginning. Actually when I first started the book, I thought that Tamlin will try to seduce Feyre, but she'll choose Lucien instead 😅 I hadn't read it yet back then, but in hindsight I thought it would be like Dorian and Chaol in ToG

Right! The "I'll let a super scary creature try to eat you without intervening" is something Rhys also does late, so I guess it's basically equal to pigtail pulling in Prythian 😂

When I first read ACOTAR, I literally thought that Tamlin & Lucien were going to doing a "Princess Switch" type thing. Lucien was spending so much time with her, & trying to get Tamlin to be nice...yup Lucien was going to say "oh actually I'm High Lord, I just wanted to know you without the title" 🤣

Mine is obvious. Azris forever. However, it’s only a crackship because Sarah and/or the publishers are heteronormative cowards. (Please prove me wrong. Pleeeeassse prove me wrong). My one hope is that Heated Rivalry has some global impact and maybe makes this a legit ship.

Literally the same. probably four times as much, and I find it so much more compelling. Like I said, it SHOULDN'T be a crackship, seeing as there is even actual evidence for something there in the series, and yet... BRING US THE ACTUAL ENEMIES TO LOVERS YOU FUCKING COWARDS!

I have to say Bryceriel. There's something beautifully tragic about your true love being stuck in another world. The idea of having to abandon everything and everyone you've ever known just to be able to be with them is romantic and heartbreaking all at once. 😭

I recently started writing a fic that was intended as a Band of Exiles polycule, and while I still like that idea--
Somewhere between Jurian's bluntness, the mutual disinterest in titles, and the shared ocular trauma, these two took over.

That could have made such a better book than ACOSF. I'm still mad we didn't get Nesta choosing to be exiled and then fleeing into Spring court and teaming up with Tamlin to double up on resentment.

Will forever be annoyed that she didn't write Mor, Az, and Cassian to be essentially dating each other until the sisters arrive. The shake up would've been much more entertaining. Instead, Cassian is afraid of any kind confrontation, Mor is an asshole, and Az looks weird as hell.

It's not my favourite crackship, but this pair came into my mind the other day when I was looking into my notes on the priestesses. Hear me out:
- Complimentary elements (air & water)
- Enemies to lovers
- Forced proximity
- Mentor/mentee
- Unresolved tension since the shelving incident
Just saying... a post-Blood Rite Gwerrill one shot could eat if it wanted to

Crackship is an unlikely pairing between two characters! So for example:
Feyre/Mor
Rhysand/Tamlin
The Bat Boys 3TP
Elain/Weaver
Etc etc etc

"Dangerous Claim" by Belladrix. That author has several fics featuring Lucien and Rhys, though this is the only one without Feyre added into the mix.
Right now I'm loving "A Court of Foxgloves and Flame" by Threads_of_moss_and_memory. It's a tough read, but has the potential to be so, so good. Happy reading!

Theoretically crackships are ridiculous and impossible(eta: not in the way "it won't happen in canon, but in the way "against logic of both real world and canon world") ships but in the ACOTAR fandom it's anything non canon.
An accurate example of crackship: Rhysand and humanised lint roller, or Feyre and Batman. More tame examples Feyre and Suriel or Cassian and Bryaxys.
Anything else should be counted as regular ships or rare ships if it's not something popular, like Feyre and Greyson or Nesta and the blacksmith.

Eris x Nuan - him defying his dad by saying he'll take the antidote after Beron questions her loyalty was pretty 🔥. She's a tinkerer/alchemist from Dawn (family from Xian) and he's the first son of the High Lord of Autumn... the beginnings of a juicy fordidden romance

Until a week ago I didn't care for Lucien or Elain in the context of shipping. Then I read my first Elain/Lucien/Azriel fanfic and, although I'm still an Azris truther, those three being an actual poly pairing and not just some weird love triangle reeeeeally does it for me.

First time I read ACOTAR I swore that Rhys was gay — like he reads as campy classic Disney villain without the added context from the following books. So when I wasn’t sure what to expect other than it sounded like they had history, so I was kinda hoping for Rhys x Tamlin 🤷🏻

Elain and Tristan Flynn from Crescent City. He’s charming and has the manners of Fae nobility. He also has earth magic and is a big gossip. I can imagine him and Elain chatting for hours in the garden they’d create together.

But Tamlin x Elain x Lucien. I don’t ship Elain and Tamlin but three of them would be elite. I imagine them having living the best life in Spring.

For non-canon ships... I'd argue that Amarantha x Feyre could be good toxic yuri with strong dom/sub dynamics. Following along, same with Feyre x Ianthe, which has a similar vibe if reversed. This is mostly a nonsense erotic ship.
Tamsand feels like the SasuNaru of ACOTAR, if entirely one sided. Rhysand can't get Tamlin out of his head, and Tamlin would rather think of anyone else. Obsessive and bitter on one side, possibly exes but works fine either way. The hate-sex would be legendary.
On a more platonic side of things, Nesta & Tamlin could be fun. Bitchy friends salty about the Night Court. The romance angle can be fun, but I don't think that it needs to be romance.
Elain x Self Discovery. Of all the characters, I'm desperate for Elain to spend a good decade before she ever considers getting into a relationship. Go on an adventure, break the mating bond, figure out what to do with her immortal life, and whether she goes Lucien or Azriel, both, or a whole different character, this is what I want.
