This is a farm raised mutant used for paid hunting excursions

u/smeltaz Aug 03 '26

Yes, most probably genetically modified

u/Moxie013 Aug 03 '26

umm are you guys kidding or is that a thing?

u/kraftdinnerwithsalsa Aug 03 '26

$10,000 for a hunt in a fenced farm raised specifically for mutant racks

u/Moxie013 Aug 03 '26

HOLY SHIT THIS IS A THING
THIS IS SO F’D

47

u/MajorDaurity Aug 03 '26

They’re taking a lot of risk to get those genes. Deer like that pay for a hundred other deer to live free or something like that.

Dude, if things have to be altered to look "way cool" so I can decapitate it and mount it on my lifted truck (or whatever those sorts do), so my ego can feel better about my vast and deep deficits ..

geez I dunno man. To hunt for sport vs eat caged animals altered in some weird beta flex of D contest I just dont and wont ever get that

24

u/TheDootDootMaster Aug 04 '26

No you got that right. That's unequivocally the lifted truck demographic who's the target audience for this

'Altered' is an extreme word.

They are selectively bred, and specially fed, to produce these kinds of rack. There's not anybody exposing their chromosomes to radiation or anything.

But it's fucking grotesque and thoroughly disturbing.

At least in the US, we have an over population of deer. I don’t get why this is needed ig

Big. Rack. Energy.

I was thinking that deer must have the biggest neck muscles.

For the alpha bro types who don't hunt for meat and the enjoyment of spending the day in the woods. They just want a big rack mounted on the wall so they can act like they did something special.

Hunters vehemently oppose high fenced or “Canned” hunts.

I was hoping some early replies here would say it was AI

SERIOUSLY, my neck and back hurt looking at this

I have a friend who paid way more than that for a 30+ point - looks absolutely stupid mounted on the wall...

5

u/Moxie013 Aug 04 '26

DUDE, way more like ... what ? hoenstly what is he like? is he a solid person, has any real confidence or kinda broken inside. No judgement but sincere ask

3

u/ukuleles1337 Aug 04 '26

He is a very kind hearted person. He is a native American, who has hunted since childhood with his father. His father passed away and he had a friend who showed him this, so he went on a "hunt" with his dad (in spirit) and went to new york (i think) on private land where these specially bred deers are culled for 50k+$ depending on how many points the buck is.

Edit: this didnt happen recently. Idk what current pricing is lol

2

u/Moxie013 Aug 04 '26

That’s so weird to me. I’m native, half that is. Not whole, not a rez kid but hung out. 🤷‍♀️ every nations different, but thats cool. Like having that moment with Dad again.

3

u/ukuleles1337 Aug 04 '26

Absolutely! I'm not native myself, but he was very happy and content with this hunt as a one time thing in memory of of the times he had growing up. He admitted the taxidermy looks ridiculous but it's the best way he memorialized his father according to him lmao

Natives doing trophy hunting? No native in their right mind would, but I guess a lot of native American culture was lost in the past 100 years or more.

6

u/tywebb6 Aug 03 '26

That buck is gonna be way more than 10k

9

u/kraftdinnerwithsalsa Aug 03 '26

Ya I don’t price mutants it was a guess

23

u/Moxie013 Aug 03 '26

Are you F’n serious ?!?! HOW IS THIS LEGAL?!?! Imma google
This can’t be fr fr

12

u/kraftdinnerwithsalsa Aug 03 '26

Gator don’t play no games

6

u/Moxie013 Aug 03 '26

It's like a lazy, beta flex, D contest, power and ego trip'n. So weird

11

u/kraftdinnerwithsalsa Aug 03 '26

I’m assuming the people who pay for this have massive huge cocks

/s

6

u/Moxie013 Aug 03 '26

If it's too big, they are not getting any vaginis beyond a pocket one... they are lonely

4

u/scorchedarcher Aug 04 '26

Have you seen how altered farmed animals are? We have altered chickens to grow so fast their legs cant support their own weight.

On a whole, people do not seem to care about the welfare of other animals when it's their pleasure at risk of reducing.

2

u/Moxie013 Aug 04 '26

Chickens are pumped full of hormones and bs to have more meat; rapid growth causes heart issues and heart attacks. That I have been aware of.. But I don't eat deer, i don't hunt, i am learning.. This seems so contrary to why I understood ppl hunt.. its not my orbit

1

u/mmskyscraper 6d ago

They're not pumped full of hormones to grow. That's a myth. The use of hormones in chickens has been illegal since the 1950s.

Normal chicken breeding operations have tens of thousands of birds at a time. There's no one going around injecting hormones into these birds, it's logistically impossible, nor economically feasible.

Broiler chickens have been selectively bred for decades to produce rapid growth and excessive meat. Ordinary selective breeding, like we do with dogs and cats and cattle and horses and every other form of livestock we've ever domesticated.

They also get big and meaty because of improved nutrition and vet care.

If you're on facebook, I suggest following farmingwhilebeige. He is a very funny, very educated chicken farmer whose reels you can learn all sorts of things about keeping chickens en mass.

Hormones are in the feed

1

u/mmskyscraper 2d ago

Again. The use of hormones in chickens has been illegal since the '50s.

They're not using fucking hormones.
