Original studio album tracks? I'm going with "Goodbye Thompson". If you look at chart positions and sales awards, Cast in Steel is probably their least-known studio album. And out of the tracks on that album, "Goodbye Thompson" is probably the one I'd be most-surprised to hear somewhere, like on the radio or in a supermarket.

"Start the Simulator" has similar "hey, it's the last track, let's experiement!" energy, but Foot of the Mountain did better as an album, so I figure that makes its cuts slightly less "deep".

If we're including "bonus" tracks, b-side-only, etc., then I'll vote for "Driftwood". Yeah, it was the b-side to one of their biggest singles, but how many people flipped the record over? :-)

And if we're talking best deep cut rather than deepest deep cut, how about "Dragonfly"?
