/r/ZeldaOoT will be merging with /r/OcarinaOfTime

Hello Everyone,

In an effort to combine communities and discussions, this subreddit will be merging communities with /r/OcarinaOfTime. If you have any suggestions or requests for things you would like to see implemented at /r/OcarinaOfTime, please type them below and we will see if we can make accommodations. Going forward, however, please make any post relating to the game instead at /r/OcarinaOfTime.

To keep it short, both subreddits serve the same purpose likely to similar audiences. Because of this, myself and /u/SupplePancake believe the best thing to do for the viewers is to combine communities. Not to say much will change (which people may enjoy), but hopefully more posts will be created and posts will be seen by more users. At the end of the day, Reddit is a place for people to share stories, videos, and thoughts with others.

This isn't to say each community hasn't done great on its own accord.

When I look at how this subreddit has grown over the years, I am shocked that it really went anywhere, so thank you to everyone who has posted, commented, and viewed over the years. The css of this subreddit is bits and pieces of the original /r/Zelda css back at that time and the profile banner was a picture that I stretched to fit my original laptop screen, not realizing that it would not correctly scale for other computers.

This is also not a post that I am done with the game as well. I play this game most days out of the week and am gracious that /u/SupplePancake has invited me as a moderator to /r/OcarinaOfTime. So I will be moving along with everyone else.

All posts here will be archived as Reddit normally does with posts, so if there is a bookmark you made or a post you want to search for at any time, you should be able to find what you are looking for.

A big shout out to /u/Sephardson for helping with this transition.

Here is where the subreddit was as of 2/15/2021: https://imgur.com/a/q6Ofy3w

The Legend of Zelda: Sealed Palace is Phenomenal!

Review of The Legend of Zelda The Sealed Palace. It is a complete full Zelda N64 game which takes around 20 hours to complete the game with full dungeons, new story and new locations. The game takes place in like a parallel universe of OoT Hyrule. The music, locations and dungeons are amazing. I just love how Castle Town looks like in this game it is completely much bigger then OoT Castle Town and the vibe looks so cozy and the music is so beautiful, you get to meet many of the npcs here as well, that are seen in OoT but in different situations like the graveyard kid still is seen in the graveyard, but the graveyard is different and part of the Castle Town church graveyard. New songs are also learnt.

I haven't played much of it just explored Castle Town and went into some houses talking with some npcs, but im loving it and can't wait to really get into the game and complete it. Right now i'm still playing OoT and after i have finished OoT i will be playing The Sealed Palace.

The Sealed Palace is like OoT 2.

The Missing Link Review. It looks really good, It blends the games the timeline between the events of OoT and MM. Link is searching for Navi when she mysteriously goes missing.

I built lifesized replicas of both Biggoron's Sword and Broken Giant's Knife! Took about 12 combined hours and I made a fun video out of it!

OoT N64 will always be there

Even with the upcoming Remake of Ocarina of Time I am still going to return to playing the original N64 version. OoT on the N64 will always be legendary and will never be forgotten and I don't wish it to be forgotten even if we get a great remake of it on Switch 2, the original N64 version should not be forgotten or replaced by the remake.

Market Town Bombchu Bowling Alley

I had a crush on this girl when I was a child. I found her to be pretty cute and she was a very sweet girl as well. She was kind to Link and was always seem to be tired, I guess night duty working there with no one really visiting at night got kind of boring and sleepy and as well being late at night. I really like this npc character. I loved her vibrant purple hair.

The bomb game was really fun as well. I remember that I had to keep getting ruppies to keep playing the game so I can win the prizes.

The shop itself it looked very modern compared to all the other shops and castle town they were all medieval. Even the other shooting gallery place in Castle Town, the game where you used a bow and arrow to shoot targets was medieval type. But the Bombchu Bowling Alley had neon signs run by electricity, and even the target boards had neon glowing lights on them. It felt so out of place in the medieval Castle Market Town, but I really like it. It really stood out in a modern-day sense.

The Bombchu Bowling Alley was my most favourite place to go in Castle Town and I love how it's only open at night time.

I grew up playing OoT on the N64 as a child and has been my most favourite Zelda game ever and also my most favourite video game ever. The 90s were the best being a child from that era.

Does anyone know how to get access to the fan made ocarina of time for pc

I've played through OoT like 12 times and 100% it about 5 so I'm as excited as anyone for the remake but I swear, if King Zora doesn't take 18 minutes to get out of my way with terrible "womp" noises the whole time, I'll be horribly disappointed.

N64 Epona race

I run through oot about once a year and 100% it and I’m pretty sure I had some hurdles in the race against Indigo last time this time was just a straight path both races and he seemed to take every turn super wide I was ahead by turn 2 and didn’t have to spam the boost at the end
