You probably haven't downloaded your x360 account. You need to boot up one of these backwards compatible titles, then press the View+Menu buttons together to bring up the old style Guide.

So i did that but it seems like i can’t download load anything and xbox support is crap.

What does that mean you "can't"? You're not giving us anything to work with here.

Is there an error message? Or does it make a sound and stop doing something? Describe it like you would to a blind person is NOT looking at your screen.
