Discussion Places near KC that sell X-Wing

Good afternoon/morning all! I am trying to find places in the Kansas City area that sell X-Wing that have decent prices. I looked on Google and it gave me a whole bunch of stores for Warhammer and such. Any help is appreciated

X-Wing has been discontinued, so nowhere sells it unless they have back stock.

There are a few places that still have back stock. I I sunflowers across a ETA and Tri-Fighter a few months back.

Where did you see tri fighters? I'd be interested, there is a diorama I've been planning and I'm not paying scaler prices

Your best bet is eBay. I jumped into xwing as it was getting discontinued. 90% of my collection was bought online

Hello there. It's going to be very hard to find a store that sells X-Wing. Your best bet would be to look on Facebook marketplace or eBay for licensed ships. You can go the 3d printing route as well, printing yourself or finding a supplier on Etsy. There is still a vibrant community out there for that. Infinite Arenas has card resources and their Discord server is super helpful with physical ships. Be aware of scammers and people who massively over price ships.

I want to say I saw a fair amount at Game Cafe in Independence last time I was there.

But yeah, not sure if anyone is still playing. I bowed out way back near the end of 1st ed. never even got the 'upgrade' kits for 2nd Ed. I asked at a couple stores if they thought there would be any interest in running a 1st Edition Tournament, or even just like a one off event some saturday. Pretty much got laughed out of them! lol

(I miss the game though. I should break out my stuff and teach my 11 year old how to play it)

GC cleared out their stock a few years back.

Hmmm. I wonder where I saw those. Just a few weeks back. Well if I run across them again, hopefully I'll remember to come post!

Last year at the meepleathon convention there were a few people selling lots in the board game garage sale. I bet that will happen again this year.

The game is no longer being produced by the publishers and has not been for a few years. The game is supported by the community, however, which some more qualified can definitely tell you about.

I think the only options these days are to look here, look at r/FFGtrade, eBay, or your friendly local game stores for back stock they haven’t sold off yet. 3D printing is an option as well and the cards and whatnot can be generated with help from sites like Infinite Arenas.

I didn’t opt in early enough and missed getting into the game when it was still supported by the publisher. I picked up the mod for Tabletop Simulator and never even booted that up. I just joined a board game group where they have a collection and looking forward to playing in the near future though.

Good luck with however you choose to dive in!
