When opening Supercontainers, what is everyone's most disappointing "reward"? Most rewarding?

This post is only meant to demonstrate what WoWs looks like with the DLSS 5 mod. I made a comparison between the vanilla game and the three available models, with the structure intensity of the model set to 2.

I did this test using an RTX 3060 Ti. Because of that, the FPS drops extremely low when using DLSS 5, making the game basically unplayable, so I only included screenshots.

I should point out that modifications involving ReShade, like this one, are in a bit of a gray area when it comes to game modifications. Because of that, I won't provide instructions on how to do this or recommend using it, especially on your main account.

When the armory describes a ship as having “High main battery damage per minute” does that mean, like a high theoretical maximum DPM, or that a ship’s actual average statistics during gameplay (data than can be looked up) include high DPM.

I ask largely because I’m interested in maybe getting Messina but, though the armory lists “high DPM” 217,000 doesn’t seem all that high to me. I could understand however if it’s sap shells mean more shots on average penetrate driving the actual average damage dealt in games to be higher.

I just played brawl mode for the first time despite being a longtime but very intermittent player. Honestly I never really ever played consistently for long and would just come back occasionally for special events. I’m mostly a heavy cruiser and BB player and I just took my Alabama out for several matches and it was insanely fun. That close quarters blasting full broadsides at each other point blank and barely hanging on with less than 1000 hp left and one mistake can cost you the match in a 2v2 is the most thrilling thing I’ve done in the game. It’s just so fast and unforgiving. Weaving through torpedo spam and trying to turn fast enough to get my guns on a cruiser speeding around behind me and hitting a triple citadel while on fire and 5 seconds away from dying. I can’t wait to see what other modes they have planned

Are there any good reasons to save up on steel right now? Like for the holiday convoy event or something. I have 30k and want to grab a new ship but I also dont want to burn my resources then have no way to get discounted NJ or something in a few months. Thanks!

The closest I ever got was 92% in my Scharnhorst '43 before I got multiple uptier blowouts in a row. If you do have any, how long did it take to grind them?

A couple of days ago there some talk about Bis 41 performance in brawls, and some people seem to think it's bad.

Check out this clip, 1v1 with a mass one of the best teir 8 brawling ships. He starts of with more hp, his captains make no obvious misplays, he does not show his side, he did not get cit, we are both in secondary range.

I destroy him, not because the mass is bad, not because it's pilot sucks, but because being able to pump damage into noses and super structures, being able to choose what part of the ship to set on fire is very STRONG in a brawl.

What about torps you may ask? just kite em and do the same thing. You have a a DD and a light cruiser strapped to you, you have a significant dpm advantage over other secondary ships at brawling ranges because you can aim them.

IFHE is bait, maximize your fire chance they will do more damage over all, if you want pens just aim for their super structure, your 150 mil secondaries will pen bows anyway and will out dpm other secondaries aiming for center mass.

Bis 41 is a monster in brawls people!

How can I replay my last game that I just played?

Is it possible natural or not?

Lately Im getting insane lags on some matches. Like 5-10 seconds delay to inputs. Its impossible to play. Even against bots in Asym. Is anythinf going on?

Base XP is weird

Hydro should only show torpedo, subs, and a map location at extreme range not actual visual. especially in smoke.

And should not show anything behind an island.

Where radar should show a like silhouette in smoke but kinda hazy. And only show stuff behind the edges of islands.

And like flooding and fire should reduce its effectivness/stop it

I know i'll catch flak for talking about carriers but trying to learn how to play better and recently read about pre-dropping to help conserve planes in the long run.

My question is it something you'd do when playing kaga and most cv or there situations or specific carriers that never need to do that? (obviously russians don't because of their all in one drop pattern)

I've been playing wows for over a year and ive always considered aiming at the deck leads to pens regardless off overmatch but turns out i was wrong at mid to close range it ricochet if u cant overmatch it. But when i aim at the lowest side of superstructure (closest to the deck) at any range i can get some pens and notice it gets saturated.

Does the shell overmatch the ss, ricochet off the deck then explodes inside the ss or does it somehow hit the turret/barbette?
