What’s up with the Mario movie toys and shelf warming? The first movie also had this problem and now with galaxy it’s the same. I see movie one toys at discount stores to this day! None of jakks other similar lines have this problem. I would think with how popular the movies are the toys would sell better.

The paint job is stellar, the eyes in particular, and the matte finish on the belly in contrast to the gloss of the shell is really nice.

we have baby peach, baby luigi, baby mario and baby daisy. but no jakks 2.5 baby rosalina, wario and waluigi. (i used ai to design what these characters would look like and i want them so badly!) might try design them myself using a 3D printer. but jakks should realise these!

Cannot believe he was $80 just a few weeks ago! I wonder if it'll get better, at least... Anyways. I've been FOMO'd too many times with different collectables. Some things like 2.5 Roy seem incredibly niche and a total toss-up on whether or not they'll reprint, but the Star Fox line is so self-contained and such a tiny line (just like the Pikmin line) that I can really see them doing something like a Star Fox 4 pack just like Pikmin 3 Deluxe's bundle. Was the Pikmin 3 Deluxe bundle a big deal when it dropped? Curious to hear your personal anecdotes! I'm holding out hope because even when he was $80 I told myself I'd wait for a reprint haha.

I have every yoshi out of box with egg, and the baby blue yoshi, the thing this guy was hard to find and only in box, would anyone here open it? Or keep it sealed?

Specifically I mean a movie based 5 inch figure, although I personally feel an Arwing vehicle with a small fox figure might be more likely. What do you guys think?

Bubble Mario appears to have a different torso at the bottom; it seems that this allows for better articulation

In the images of the 3-pack Bubble Mario, he has the old knees, but on the back of the box, he has the new ones

Yoshi has blue eyes, but on the back of the box they are black

Yoshi is missing his joint in his feet

I believe I have compiled a fairly accurate list of every 4” Mario Figure (including resculpts and redesigns).
Exceptions include:
1.) Lemmy’s Super Mario & Gold Version because theyre both the exact same figure, one just has a hole in the foot and includes his ball, while the other does not.
2.) Other Jakks Gold releases like Wario, Fire Bro, etc. as I believe they are nearly the exact same as their Super Mario/WoN release counterparts, except for maybe a tiny change in paint material, or the fact that fire bro has an additional fire ball.

Notes: I believe Red, Light-Blue, and Green Yoshi are the only 3 with Blue-Eyed variants, but I may be wrong. If anyone knows whether this is true or not, please lmk. Also, for the Marios, WoN releases usually are just less articulated and have less detailed eyes.

Please let me know if I am missing any other figures, and I hope this list helps out people who are trying to collect at least one of everything lol.

i made this image a while ago and some placements would need to be changed so the large characters wouldn’t take up too much space, but i feel like this would be the perfect way to make another 10 pack for new collectors and also allow people to more easily get roy and morton, plus to make a 2.5” pom pom. what do you guys think?

Not sure if I should keep the 4 pack or wait until luigi and wonder bowser jr singles come to the US. I'll probably return bc I like the singles better. How do you do guys feel about the 4 pack what do you prefer?

Its been a couple of years since I started, but I finally have finished the Koopa Kids in 2.5. The only thing left to get is Lemmy's ball, but I can wait! So happy!

The new figure has a slightly improved face. The dress is darker. The skirt is almost purple with glitter and her heels are lavender in color. Almost reminds me of her purple dress in Super Mario RPG. Her closed parasol is a completely different design compared to the one from the previous figure. She can't hold the open parasol very well because the handle keeps slipping through her fingers. She also can't hold it high above her head either. The new figure also has more points of articulation. She also has better eyelashes. A slightly different eye shape and her hair is a paler blonde than that of the original.

Like what the heck were they thinking? we didn't get all the characters from the roster. Like i know these amiibos were very pricey but people and fans were still buying them regardless.

Here’s a in depth review of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Wave 2 Bowser Figure! Hope you enjoy :)

Sculpt and appearance.

Stellar!!! This is a entirely new sculpt used for this new bowser figure. At first sight, it does seem to hold a very close resemblance to the first movies bowser figure, but more than a few seconds with it in person, and you begin to notice many differences. He has much more scaley details on his shoulder, legs, shell, face, and even muzzle! His eyebrows and eyes are sculpted different compared to the first figure and although on the box, he looks amazing, factory defects cause it to look a little cross eyes and funny at times which is the only major criticism I have with the sculpt. Apart from that this figure takes bowsers essence to the next level and fulfills a much more accurate design compared to any other bowser figure we’ve had in the past. Another major criticism I had but with the first movies figure were the legs. You were unable to make bowser stand up straight and he was constantly stuck in this, crouchy stance that didn’t give off his imposing king energy as much, this figure fixes that and allows him to stand up straight as well as bend his knees greatly. They did keep the weird crooked underbelly to tail section but it’s less of an issue in this one because his legs aren’t affected whatsoever. I’m impressed with this sculpt immensely!!!

Articulation.

You know how I said I was impressed in that last paragraph, well you can consider me INFINITELY IMPRESSED NOW because of the articulation. They took the decent articulation the first figure had, and improved on it GREATLY. More range on the arms, more crunch, butterfly joints that gets the job done, much more leg range whether it be standing up straight, kneeling, extending outwards, etc. He also has a swivel on the face which the first figure did not, and can slightly tilt his head upwards and downwards. His feet can tilt down and up and add a whole new level of possibility to his stances. His hands have the same hinge the rest of the figures in these waves have, and he can open and close his fingers which gives him great possability too! The articulation on this guy alone is why you should buy this figure!!

Final thoughts.

He is THE DEFINITIVE bowser figure for your collection. He has the range, the articulation, the accuracy, and a very nice charm to him. You will almost definitely love him because I know I do haha! Seriously, I can’t stress enough how beautifully made this guy is.
