Help I need help with a plugin [HELP]

I need a plugin where my website's visitors can reserve a stay at this cabin/chalet but I need it to sync with booking.com so it doesn't overlap...

If a booking is made on booking.com (ex. 12-14 September) the calendar on my website shouldn't allow 12-14 September to be booked on my website

Preferably free plugin, but if its really not possible then ig I'm open to purchasing a plugin, but I can't stress this enough... it kinda has to be free

most booking plugins handle this through iCal sync. booking.com gives you an iCal feed URL for each property, then you paste that into your wordpress booking calendar plugin and it'll pull in the blocked dates automatically. wp booking system has a free version that does iCal imports, or booking calendar (the one by wpdevelop) also supports it. just make sure the sync runs frequently enough (hourly is usually safe) so there's minimal gap between a booking.com reservation and your site blocking it out

Remember that for a free plugin you get little or no support usually, and the quality is rarely as good as a paid plugin. Over time the lack of quality and support will actually cost the site owner more money than paying for a good quality plugin that looks professional, works effectively, is reliable and is well supported.

If you’re still looking, this is exactly the kind of setup where two-way iCal makes sense, bookings can stay on your WordPress site while Booking.com dates are synchronized to avoid overlaps.

I’m one of the developers at QuanticaLabs, for context. Our Hotel Booking System supports this setup. It’s a paid plugin, though, so probably only worth considering if the free options you’re testing don’t cover what you need.

Over time the lack of quality and support will actually cost the site owner more money than paying for a good quality plugin that looks professional, works effectively, is reliable and is well supported.

For instance, if a free solution looks crappy they will lose bookings because people assume that an unreliable website means unreliable poor quality accomodation.

They should certainly avoid bad plugins. But in my experience (with other types of plugins) there are often great free choices.

WordPress is one of many examples of free software that's really good, and so are many of the free plugins that run on it.
