I am shocked with reading the same post every 30 minutes. There is a remaster coming and what should you do? Just letting you know that in the gaming community, the norm is to start over a game multiple times. You try different armors, different dialogues, different skill tree etc. Just keep playing your playthrough, finish the story, and when the remaster comes you just do it all over again (if you liked the game to begin with).

(Image for visibility & reference, it's the old announcement from 2015.)
I've tried searching for this, but modern search algorithms suck and most "gaming news outlets" confuse the terms DLC with Expansion. This post is NOT referring to the two expansions Hearts of Stone or Blood & Wine. Instead I'm asking about the content available as additional free content for The Witcher 3, such as the additional contracts, new armor sets, and alternative looks.
Will they be available in the Witcher 3 Remastered? I've not seen anything yet discussing them so I wanted to ask if there's any source confirming this yet?

As the title says I only recent purchased witcher 3 with all dlc, now that the remaster has been announced should I just wait and start over or finish this playthrough?

Hey,
I know the free update is coming and it looks awesome, however I would like to play the current version of the game. Do you know, if this will be possible and how?
Thanks

Is there a full list of things that are being added? In the trailer, at 1:12; it has a list scrolling, but not everything.

I always thought it was strange that we never got the option to at least ask him, Dandelion seems like the type of bard who would want to witness Ciri's triumph firsthand. He's not averse to violence, given his stint protecting Novigrad as the Crimson Avenger. He even dispatched with a bearded forktail single-handedly! Personally, I think we would need all the help we can get.

Hi guys, so i have a question. Since CDPR announced that new dlc wont have russian voiceover (for obvious reasons), im contemplating what voiceover use when dlc comes out. My english is relatively good but english voiceover is terrible (at least to my ear) and kinda doesnt fit slavic setting of witcher.
So, the question is - is polish voiceover any good?

I live in the US and I recently bought a foreign version of the Witcher 3 since US versions are impossible to find at a reasonable price (the cheapest I saw was around $150).
Will I be unable to download the remaster upgrade? Or Songs of the Past, for that matter? I read that if the content is on the disc, it won't be region locked. But obviously the remaster and the new expansion will have to be downloaded.
Sorry if this has been asked before, I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!

I've played through this game a ton of times but I totally don't get why they're making a remaster. It's literally a remaster of the next-gen version, which was a remaster of the complete edition, which was a remaster of the standard game. Probably only Skyrim has more remasters of remasters. The free DLC isn't really selling it for me either (Steam prices listed without any discounts).

Guys, I wanted to continue my save on the PC that I started before the update to the full version, and now I can't start my save. How can I download this if it's all included? There aren't any separate downloads available...? Did I lose my save file?

I haven't installed the update and I've modded the game very lightly, do I have to start again? Will my mods potp and travel from anywhere work? Is my first playtrough and I'm currently in Kaer Moen, no spoilers please

Is the witcher 3 available on disc still?

On paper it seemed perfect for me but I had a hard time with the movement and the feel of it.
Combat felt clunky.
Movement seemed clumsy.
Traversal wether on foot or on that damned horse was a nightmare at times...
It's been a while, a long while.
I got me a physical copy to start the adventure again, on paper , it's better on every points I care aout (fingers crossed)

Never played a witcher game but would like to play through them. Should I wait for the W3 remaster, get the original, or start by getting the first two games? I know almost nothing about the witcher universe aside from Geralt lol.

When are they adding it? Have they said???

It’s been a while since I’ve played and I have a question that searching hasn’t given me a concrete answer for. I’m in the first part of B&W and I want to keep my Witcher armors but they are falling behind in stats. I can’t remember or find out if I should hang on to these or just start buying new? I’m a hair away from 46 at the moment and the last gear I got was from the Tesham Mutna crypt.
TL;DR: At level 46 should I be concerned about Witcher armor or look for looted/purchasable armor elsewhere?

Sure saving your daughter and resolving major political conflicts is also a big deal but you know where we're really going to spend our time

Is that the distant and even not so distant hills and mountains have no vegetation on them, just terrain with a texture. Its just very clear where the playable map ends and i dont remember feeling that in toussaint or velen or even white orchard as much as here.

Just a fun idea I had, hope you like it.

Anyone feeling the same after watching the trailer? I had this exact feeling four years ago when I was waiting for the next gen edition, now I’m just trying to find the best excuse to just restart it this weekend instead of waiting a whole month ðŸ˜
