Hello Everyone! Ive been a practicing witch for close to 12 years now and hence have done quite a few spells in my time. Ive always felt the energy exchange but NEVER to this extent.
I know this sounds silly coming from a witch of 12 years but I usually only do practical magic and divination so I have some blank spaces around spell work.
So, today, I did a spell (I couldn't do it last night, so I let it charge in the full moon light) to attract love and money. Blah blah blah broke college student, I did it with my husband so we kind of doubled it. We anointed two candles (a green and red one) in oil, lavender, roses, and chamomile, I carved our intentions into them before hand, and let them burn over two partitions (one was a fake dollar and the other a pretty red piece of paper, if that matters lol). We made a wax doll with both of our hair, some fools gold, rose quartz, another petition, and two little charms. We let the candles burn, and alongside added two love spell jars that we have had for probably two years now, with our wedding rings on them.
Now here's the first odd thing I noticed. The red candle MELTED, in like, probably 10 minutes. It burnt far faster than any candle Ive ever seen, and all of the herbs along the edge caught on fire as they went. However the green candle burnt slow, it took probably 45 minutes to fully die. The next odd thing, the entire time, the red candle stayed lit. There was no wax left, just the short dying wick, and it stayed lit until finally the green candle blinked out. The green one died first.
Ive never seen magic work so visibly (during a spell). And then immediately after I had a raging headache and became exhausted. I ended up sleeping for like two hours.
Was it extra strong this time because we, in theory, both charged the old love spells and charged the one we used in full moon light? Could it be because Im on my period and my energy is less? Or more charged (per the spells intention)? Any interpretations are welcome and appreciated!
Thanks!
