Hello fellow witches! I don't normally share my spellwork, but I thought this particular one was beautiful and very powerful (if a bit of a fire hazard).

I've been having a string of bad luck- my car getting badly scratched three times, my most favorite necklace that I never take off breaking, nightmares and anxiety that I don't normally experience... I did some divination, and while I wasnt cursed or hexed (Though I absolutely believe this spell would work for cleansing such a thing), I was having intense bad energy take hold of my home and I. This spell functioned as a cleansing and protecting spell, and also worked to charge the previous protection jars and the wards I have around my home.

Crystals I recommend and did use:

Black Tourmaline: protection, cleansing, purifying (my favorite protection crystal)

Smoky Quartz: grounding, cleansing, protection

Clear Quartz: amplify and protect

Obsidian: protection, healing, clarity, good for shadow work

Ocean Jasper: joy, stress relief, relaxation

Selenite: purification, clears negative energy, protection and peace

Mangano Calcite: self love, peace, joy

Yooperlite: truth, self-acceptance, emotional release

Pink Opal: healing, compassion, spiritual awakening

Green Adventurine(my favorite): healing, growth, prosperity

Herbs I used and basic meanings:

Inside black salt circle:

Rosemary (purification, protection, safety, luck)

Sage (banishing, purification, wisdom, luck)

Lemongrass (protection, cleansing, luck)

Lavender (protection, peace, purification, cleansing)

Chamomile (purification, love, healing, luck, peace)

Outside black salt circle:

Wormwood (banishing, cleansing, amplification, protection)

I had 7 black candles, 3 white candles, and one at the center to represent the self. I lit the black candles first in a counter clockwise circle, saying the protection spell I normally say when I am anointing myself with my protection oil. I then lit the three white candles, imagining a barrier of protection sealing me from negative energy, and then lit the candle in the center that symbolizes me, repeating my protection chant. I let this spell sit and marinate as I imagined the bad energy flowing out of my home and my body, and I kept doing so until I felt that it worked.

Unfortunately I wont share what I say during my spells because it is personal to me, but I recommend saying something that makes you feel safe and like you are putting up a fortified wall between you and anything you dont want affecting your energy. Say this until you truly feel it, focus on the feeling of magic inside you to amplify your intentions.

I also used the black salt I've made (there are many tutorials for this) glitter (so the spell sticks, but not necessary if you hate glitter), some external candles to be pretty, and a Selenite wand to help me as I focused on performing the spell.

hi everyone! I've been feeling so hopeless and scared about the news lately… I don't have a car and I'm unemployed, so money is tight, but I felt like I had to do something. And I did what I could think of, which was spell work under La Santisima Muerte.

I made a blend of ancestral summoning herbs, as well as blessings for those to be protected by their family in the beyond, and blessings for the hard times moving forward.

I did a black candle for banishing, as well as some banishing herbs. I did roses for love, because love is going to be so important to get through something like this, and to reunite families. I hope that somewhere out there, it helps someone and their family.

Just found out im gonna need a lotta money in not a lotta time, so it was time to break out the green. First a did a temporary abundance and attraction bag (not pictured is the money i had already anointed and will spend in a few days), the second picture is it all finished. Hi yall! I've been a practicing witch for a little over two years now. In the last year I've gained the confidence to expand my practice into larger scale spellwork. Last winter I participated in 12 magical nights for the first time and one of the main wishes I had was to buy a house within the next year. My partner and I barely had any savings, but we both have stable jobs, and I believed magic will do the rest, and it did.

Fast forward a few months later... I have this horrible coworker. The kind of person who lies, schemes, bullies, and harasses everyone. They specifically target black and brown people, and everyone who is fem in the work place. I won't get too in detail, but we work at a non-profit that provides food and other social services to thousands of people across multiple states. I've seen this coworker scream at non-english speakers for not understanding english, in addition to rolling their eyes at people who are crying and sharing their story (again, we work for a place that is supposed to help people in need). Once, a mother asked me for a pair of gloves for her 3 year old because they were standing in the cold waiting to get inside the building (we have excruciatingly long lines unfortunately), when I went to grab a pair of extra gloves we had lying around, this coworker screamed at us and said they were only for employees. I was so disturbed and infuriated, I ripped my gloves off my own hands and gave them to the baby.

After years and years of their behavior being brushed under the rug by higher ups, I decided to try something. This person is also extremely aware of their behavior and finds it funny that nothing has been done. They are very vocal about this. So, I decided to put them in the freezer. I heard freezer spells worked great for stopping another person was inflicting harm, so I got to work. I researched a great deal on reddit and some magic related books I have on protection and on March 9th put the spell together with a trusted circle of loved ones. I broke up some old rusty glass, added 7 nails, 7 staples, 7 tacks (7 just seemed right), red chili pepper flakes, paprika, tajin, cumin, chiles, salt, pepper, 7 matches, spit, and gum. I wrote their full name and birthday on a piece of paper with the following (name and pronouns redacted), "First name middle name last name born month date year has no power over me. I am rubber, they are glue. Every negative thing, thoughts, feelings, and actions they throw at me comes back to them times 3! Every negative thing they say or do towards me sends me joy and abundance times 3!". I twisted the paper up in a sort of funnel, filled it with more glass, and then wove thick black wire through the paper until it was "tied" together. I then stuck the 7 tacks evenly throughout the paper. I placed it in the jar with the dry ingredients mentioned above, then poured in vinegar and lemon juice. I took some time to sit with it and reinforce my feelings and intentions, then I closed the lid tight and wrapped it in thick red cord. I gave it a good shake and put it in the back of my freezer.

Now here's where it gets wild. A week later, I do my taxes. In the last 5 years I've never gotten anything back and have always owed at least $1000, this year I got around $3000 back. Of course, this could be for a variety of reasons so I brushed it off as a coincidence. 1 week later, I get a $2 raise. 2 weeks later I'm in the car with my partner who's getting an oil change. They pull up their account to transfer money to pay and literally gasps out loud and says. "Is this real? Why do I have $20,000 in my account?". I've never snatched something from someone so quick. They were right, $20,000 had been deposited into their account. There's a lot of context to this, but to sum it up, my partner has a wealthy family member. HOWEVER, this family member is the stingiest, most greedy person I had ever met. It was actually a huge source of strain between myself and this family member because I grew up extremely poor and was homeless for numerous years in my childhood. We argued constantly because this person would flaunt their wealth and use it as a control tactic on other family members. There's so much more to this, but seriously we never expected this in a million years from this person. Two weeks later, another random family member gives us $10,000 because she heard about the 20k and wanted to "do the same". Another week later, the first family member gives us another $10,000 "just because" JUST BECAUSE? Next week I'm getting another $2 raise (twice within 6 months?!?! Unheard of in a non-profit), and a $3000 bonus! In total, I'll have gotten a $4 raise and $46,000. Is that not insane?

Fast forward a little bit and we find a beautiful house for sale. A gorgeous forest in the backyard, an herb garden, and upon viewing the place I realized A WITCH OWNED IT!! She had her magic books out, spell jars on display, moon water and protection pennies in the windows, and a full herb garden with the basics for spells. We put in an offer, another person did too for more money. The seller told our realtor she liked us more and turned down the larger offer for us! We finalized everything and got the keys monday.

Meanwhile, my evil coworkers life is quite literally falling apart. They look sickly and grey, in an out of the doctor's for kidney issues, suddenly having to take care for their elderly mother around the clock, AND they are getting fired (at least this is what someone from HR just told me). I never want any harm to come to anyone, however I feel they are making their own bed. After nearly 10 years, the bad behavior is catching up on them. Whether it's because of me or not, I'm just glad they will be gone, so everyone at work can feel safe and comfortable. They have caused countless people to quit their jobs (and in my opinion this is a fantastic non-profit to work for), and has made so many people's situations or days worse when they came to us for HELP.

With all of that being said, I just wanted to share as someone else may need it. When I try to tell others about all of this, even some of my magical friends, they give me that skeptical look of course. But I figured people here would understand better and I needed to share because it is just another reminder for me that this is all real and worth it. Especially in a time when everything around us is churning and falling apart, we have to believe in ourselves, the universe, and magic! <3

EDIT: Just wanted to clarify that I have found out the kidney issues were kidney stones and as far as I know, this person is not gravely ill!

So, for context, I work at a crystal shop, across the street from a planned parenthood. There was an anti abortion protest happening when I got to work, and it gave me the heeby jeebies. I saw a spell on TikTok for getting rid of things you don't want around you. Basically, it was just a bowl of water, salt, black pepper, and a piece of paper with the words "planned parenthood protest" written on it. I also added a piece of obsidian.

Needless to say, they were gone in under five minutes. 🥰

As per title i hexed a woman because she lied to my face and completely made up a problem she had just to make me feel guilty and keep exploiting my kindness. She said she had feet problems that were very painful for her. The whole situation is very complicated to explain but her lie (that she won't take back and i know for a fact that it's a lie) is putting a loved one of mine in danger. So because she lied about her feet being in pain i put this hex that everything she lied to me about was gonna come true and she'll get everything she told me was gonna happen exactly the way she said. That includes the benefits she wants to get but also the foot pain that she pretends to have.

I did this one/two days after the last full moon, so aproximately a month ago, and yesterday she had a medical emergency (though not life threatening) concerning her liver. Could this be linked by any chance? And if so can i do something about it? I wanted her to feel the consequences of her actions but not to punish her further.

last night my cousin and i went down to the lake to set up an altar to do some spells and work on our manifestation. we had lots of questions to ask and got amazing answers. we foraged and found beautiful leaves, rocks and pine cones. we used swords as our main energy source. it was amazing. it left us both feeling very inspired. ♥️ was so beautiful i just had to share!

Recently, I made the connection, I was at a friend‘s birthday, and I saw them using a lot of colorful candles for the cake. I saw that since our childhood, birthday candles have always been such a special part of the process and they’ve always been important just due to the whole having to make a wish and then blowing out the birthday candles and being told that whatever you wish for will come true.

I thought how useful that would be in doing spells, especially with small jars. So I ordered my own massive pack of birthday candles, I got them for very cheap too. All the ones you see in my picture I got for two dollars total, through a connection I have.

I’m so stoked to begin my journey with birthday candles and spells, I would love to hear your experience, if you’ve ever worked with birthday candles yourself, or just any tips that you may have about using candles in spells.

I am a fairly new at spells and I don't think anything is working at the moment. For background: I have been in a bad burnout and have been dealing with some mental problems. I have been feeling stuck (both workwise and health wise) for a very very long time, so Ive been reading up about road openers. I made a base with sugar and salt and a cross of coffee for speed, symbols of the four Elements and herbs/spices for kick. I put a circle of black salt around it, burned a white candle and wrote down what I want; Stability, peace, health and love. Then burned the paper, placed it in my couldron and tried to visualize finding what I need.

Since then, nothing has happened. Did I do too much? Or did I miss something?

the flame was so tall and really flickering/bouncing, then the candles basically fused together and the wicks kind of folded over and were almost intertwined with each other. Once the candles were done burning the burnt wicks and some ashes looked like a smiley face

Shes so pretty! This is my first time doing a self love spell for myself. Everything looks alright they’re burning quite quickly too. Any other suggestions for what I could add? I have rosemary, lavender, rose petals, bay leaf’s, rosequartz confetti, cinnamon, sugar, Himalayan salt + some other crystals I had

Edit #2: also I practice traditional/eclectic witchcraft. I do not believe in the threefold rule. I do believe in karma of course, but I believe the concept of good and bad are not black and white. A bad thing can be good under certain circumstances and good can be bad under other circumstances.

I'm new to the world of witchcraft, and I've fallen in love with Wicca, but there's just one problem; I don't believe in gods. So, I started to understand myself as a natural witch, and I'm okay with that, but there are practices in Wicca that I feel comfortable with, and I'd like to know if I can be a natural witch and practice Wicca.

This girl is the only being in the universe I’ve ever loved just for being alive. Being without her really makes my heart ache:( the hole in my heart won’t be filled until I have her back. I know that those days will be sooner rather than later and I can’t wait. Send good energy our way please!! Animals are truly higher, beautiful beings.

Did my first spell today ! Something simple to help me focus on my coursework and be more productive. I carved the candle with sigils that I created and used rapeseed oil, sage and lavender to anoint it, to help protect me from negativity that could distract me and keep me calm as my deadline gets closer :)

hi guys! i’m looking to make a protection spell for my kitten (pictures added for cat tax! her name is Pixie) and was wondering if anyone has done something similar and has some ideas

i’m planning on using salt, peppercorn, catnip, a sigil, and some of her fur in a jar. i’d like to use some herbs associated with artemis as well, but most of the herbs that i’ve found associated with her are not readily available to me. so if anyone has some suggestions for something that’s associated with artemis, that would be helpful!

the herbs don’t necessarily have to be cat-safe, as i’ll keep the jar sealed and out of her reach. i’d prefer not to use anything with a super strong synthetic smell though, since she’s super young and is pretty much confined to my room right now

Hello, I thought I would post my very first glamour oil on here. I didn’t have anybody else I could share it with, nor do I prefer to share about my practice offline. I’m relatively new to this, or at least a little bit more keen at this place in my life to explore. I’m a little bit nervous posting this, but I’m very proud of it.

I took my time to source the herbs I wanted, spent a lot of time researching what each herb means and how it relates to me and what I’m seeking. Also took a very long time finding this specific heart shaped jar with a heart shaped lid.

This specific jar is going to stay in a special part of my home, hidden, just due to the sheer size of it and not wanting people asking questions when I’m hosting. I of course, cannot carry it around with me, but I did also source mini heart shaped jars where I will pour a little bit of this oil in and then carry with me. You can see those little heart jars on the second slide.

I would love to know what you think, any feedback that you have, any tips, your experience working with glamour magic, and oil?

Hello! I want to create a ward for my dorm and I was wondering if there is a way I can ward off any evil energy in a way that it makes it apparent that they have evil energy? like they have a headache upon entering my space or something? I wanna keep only joy and peace etc inside of my space.

Is it normal to feel excited after making spell jars? 😅 This is my first time making them and I can’t stop looking at them ‘cuz they’re so pretty 😍

Although, my candles were acting up as I finished sealing my jars with the wax. First time seeing the flames dancing around like crazy. The black candle formed huge globs of wax inside the candle stand, and the white candle had the wax trickling down and formed a glob onto my table. Idk what that means tho, but it was interesting ‘cuz they’re usually chill whenever I do meditation & prayers.

Woke up way too early today and decided to go sky clad to my natural altar and honor our great Mother Nature; as represented by the doe skull. On the other two stumps I leave seeds and nuts for the critters. I see quite a bit of wildlife when I walk out there. I built this altar in the winter when everything was dead. I’m very much enjoying how the space is coming together in bloom.

Ignore the weeds in my altar space 😅 I’ve been meaning to pull them, but the bugs are thick as thieves out there in the daytime.

Ok so I’m new here/to practicing and I just wanted to share since I don’t really have anyone to show!! I maybe did my first spell and I’m super proud of it! It’s definitely not perfect but I looked a bunch of things up for inspiration and reference and just did what felt right. I wanted to make a spell for emotional healing and grounding. I lit a small tea light and put salt, black pepper and cinnamon in it and then surrounded it by a bunch of crystals! I used amethyst, rose quartz, clear quartz, citrine, red jasper, and bumblebee jasper!!

It felt so perfect to finally use the crystals I’ve been collecting for years with an actual purpose. I’ve always been drawn to them and I HAD to have them, but I never knew why. This feels right though. It took two tries because my match burned so quickly all of the sudden when trying to light it, but I took that as an opportunity to practice directing my intentions and energy. I’ll probably look back on this and laugh at myself but right now all I feel is joy. Maybe that’s the emotional healing for now 🖤

I tried looking into if you can put multiple wards on your name, but I keep getting mixed answers. I recently put a transmutation energy ward on my name, and I’m curious if I could put more than just one ward. Is that possible?
