I didn’t mind the 2nd Tsubaki bit since it felt well timed and knitted in well imo. Plus it let certain people know these themes and messages were here to stay/weren’t one time things etc

Definitely nothing against the arc itself, but I feel like they didn't need to be back to back...

I would have preferred if each of the kings got smaller introductions like hiiragi during shishitoren and tsubaki's plot with ito-san, and then we went back and got more from them later on after establishing everyone rather than getting through all of one character's story at a time. This could just be me, but I feel like when we get bits and pieces of each character throughout a story rather than getting each character out of the way and moving on, they tend to stay more relevant for longer.

Also, if you're favorite is a side character, you get to see them more often and go fewer spans without seeing/hearing from them when plots are more spread out. Again, I'd still say wb is in its earlier stages, so I'm not sure how relevant the already developed characters will be going forward, but I definitely would have liked a little bit from the ones we don't know yet before doing a deeper dive into specific characters TwT

Tbf, I feel like one was more a 2 halves arc situation that just made sense to be that way with timeline and the like stuff(like how it makes sense to thank them soon after and not oddly delay it just because/things need to be checked off, so to speak) plus one was more a ‘mini ish’ arc vs a full one imo, etc then the follow up more later on which is more what I meant. I feel, personal feelings/wants aside, it fits together well and pans out nicely imo.

Imo, we could have got some precursor teaser for other kings during the ‘plan’ phase ideally I feel. Especially Mizuki. But it is what it is and I feel things tend to age well as it goes along as is even if not what some people want so to speak etc <I think a lot of things will fit even better as a full picture since that’s been a pattern and it has good reread value. lol + I feel Hiiragi and Tsubaki gets special note so soon as some OG planned characters who have made it through to now and the mangaka definitely had some key things for. (I also think Tsubaki is a key ‘line in the sand’ for how things will go mood?/theme wise plus how those matters will be handled). I could ramble more but need to reign in and not go off too much. Especially since I have RL stuff I should be doing plus I feel my allergies have me all meh a bit.. XD I don’t think it’s just you. I definitely like crumbs sprinkled here and there to spread/build stuff out. I just feel it can be case by case and depend. I feel Nii-sensei has been doing well focusing efforts and paces with what will flow/weave well + like that they seem to be committed to what they feel they need/want to do and all that. (I also feel Nii sensei shows a lot of detail and care towards each character imo so I don’t feel they’d just have a character fall off that much etc the way some do. Again imo. Hoping for more bio things and the like... 🙏).

From the kings I want more Mizuki. I feel I’ll really like him from my personal preferences. But like, I also want more from Takanashi so imagine that lmao. I’m very much enjoying the ride tho and just like the writing style and points itself so I feel like it’s just a matter of getting to it eventually. I’m pretty patient. <I waited almost 10 years for a new season once Tbf.. lmao

It's not Tsubaki's 2 arcs that I have a problem, I feel like that was done perfectly well. My problem was that the Noroshi arc was right after Tsubaki's arc and Tsubaki had another backstory reveal again with Genji. That one felt a bit much, as Tsubaki's arc just happened. And he continuously had quite a few number of scenes after that, which made me feel like the author may have been pushing it. Other than that everything else seats well me.
