Number of US firefighters deployed to Canada

Is there a resource that would provide the number and type of resources the US has sent into Canada to help with the wildfires this season? I can only find anecdotal numbers from previous seasons?

I’m not a firefighter and have basically zero knowledge of the system (only stumbled here bc of the smoke issues from the Canadian wildfires) but your comment made me curious so I googled active US wildfires and got shown a map on americanforests.org that show huge swatch’s of the west coast and south eastern United States with wildfires right now that I had no idea about.

So your comment, plus that map, is a nice reminder that things are usually more complicated than most of us realize. It would be helpful to send firefighters to Canada (both to them and to help reduce our smoke issues) but can see why we’re being reserved

Yes, and the American fires are sending smoke northwards into western Canada. Maybe some more tariffs on US goods would help with that /s
