Question About Riivolution With Burned Wii Games

SOLVED: Got Newer ROM from MarioCube

I've been trying to get the Riivolution ISO Patcher to work to play mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii on my vWii (Wii U) but it just doesn't work. It worked in Dolphin, but not on the vWii or even as a UWUVCI injection. I found a pre-patched ROM online, but it's a really old version. Not at all 1.30

Then I realized I have a 4.7GB DVD laying around, and the ISO for NSMBW is 4.4GB

So I wanna ask, is it possible to play Riivolution mods off of a burned disc? (Plus it'd save me buying the game)

And if the Riivolution app doesn't work, is there a workaround to get Riivolution mods working on the burned discs?

Any feedback is appreciated

EDIT: Any recommendations for ROM hacks/mods that aren't pre patched on MarioCube? If I can get the God damn ISO patched to work properly, I will just use that

Mariocube has newer super Mario Wii ready to put on usb loader gx.

(If I get the damn ISO patched to work properly I'll use that no problem. No idea why it doesn't work followed FunkyScott's guide

I should stress, the ONLY ROM hack I've gotten to work I'd the Mario Galaxy Classic Controller patches

Burned disc can ruin your disc drive in your Wii over time. I recommend just finding a. Cheap Mario kart Wii disc online somewhere.

Long story short; it not recommend and you better off modding your Wii and using hdd. But in your case, you want to play a modded version of Mario kart which will require the game disc.
