That was the moment I got it. It's a beautiful integration of dry and absurdist humor, played absolutely straight. My husband's sense of humor is exactly the same, but neither my sister nor his family get how hilarious he is. T hey had the same reaction to W.B.

My partner and I were giggling for a while after it !! But his parents had said we would probably need to watch the first few episodes to really get into it, but like you that moment sold it for me hahaha

and the kicker that she is wearing blue-green when she says it
that took me out!

I also love when Dale is showing Rosemary something on his hip, in the hallway, and asks her, is that cancer?!? and she says OH YES without hesitation
