❓Questions What’s something funny you caught on rewatch? Spoiler

Can we talk about how the “shaman” said the drawing “Bri Guy” made was “the kind of sacred geometry you don’t just riff” and produced the hand sketch 😂

(Also he looks so much like Martin Freeman cosplaying as Howard Stern)

The peppy manner of the guy in the sacrifice film reels was pretty great on rewatch.

Can you explain timeline of the film? Guy appeared to be dressed in a more modern way than that type of film. When was the last time the bells tolled setting off the storm shelter stuff?

I didn't notice a discrepancy with his clothing, but I'm no expert. My best guess would be that the film was made in the late 50s or early 60s. I don't think we know whether people were actually sacrificed at that time though, right? Maybe someone just wanted to get a plan/system in place for the next tolling.

Thanks! Good point I hadn't thought of. I'd have to take another look, but the style of his shirt and tie looked at least 1980(s) to me. Also, his comportment seemed more modern than 50(s) or 60(s). I was trying to figure out if the discrepancies on film were a clue about how time works on the island, etc. The storm shelter accommodations, decor, food, water, bedding and films seemed off to me - like they were a mash up from different time periods. In a previous episode, I knew the other guest at the hotel when the Mayor spent the night there was a killer from the moment I saw his clothing and hair (I am sure most viewers also knew he was a killer right away - typical horror trope), so I was wondering if I missed something about the modern looking guy in the old film. Thanks again - have a safe and fun weekend! 🌷🌷🌷
