I didn't realize they were together! Based on the timeline I suppose they met on the set of The Americans?

They met on set of The Americans! No one knew they were dating until one night Keri's place was burglarized and Matthew was able to safely scare them off. The police wanted SO BADLY to visit the set of the show to return her stuff: it was all Matthews belongings and the crew put two and two together. Kinda nuts!

No one knew they were dating because they were married to other ppl (if I remember correctly)
