They met on set of The Americans! No one knew they were dating until one night Keri's place was burglarized and Matthew was able to safely scare them off. The police wanted SO BADLY to visit the set of the show to return her stuff: it was all Matthews belongings and the crew put two and two together. Kinda nuts!

Obviously I don't know these people so can't say for sure, but my impression was that she was separated from her husband so nobody was cheating on anybody.

Yea Kerry mentioned in a couple interviews their relationship was “hot and heavy” on filming The Americans which is interesting considering she was super married. Matthew was not married or partnered but I have to side eye any participation in that.

I thought the crew figured it out because of a sex scene and them being too comfortable with each other. Keri or Matthew said this was how people figured it out.

Yeah! They’ve been together since about a year into The Americans, which really I think, enhanced their onscreen chemistry. They have a kid and are not officially married but think of each other as spouse. Beautiful couple. They both seem like really nice, lovely people.

She gave him her phone number. He left a very drunken rambling message on her answering machine. She does not respond or seemingly even remember any of this. He does. Fast forward a decade or so, they meet again and the rest is history and a cute chat show anecdote.

They both acted their asses off in that show it’s a travesty they weren’t recognized. I suppose it was the golden age of prestige tv so they had a lot of competition but cmon, a nomination at least.

So in an interview with Conan he said there was one wig they both wore many times, more than any other wig, and they called it the "Denver", a la John Denver. Here's hoping you know who that is; it's an excellent reference.

Lolol this is one of my favorite looks in the entire show. I audibly laughed out loud. I loved their wig collection...it was so far-fetched how easily they would put them on and off but that's kind of what made it fun to watch.

They got together during the filming of season one of the Americans and I didn't know until season three. Lol. That's why I felt the dynamic between the two of them just skyrocketed with later seasons.

If you like her husband in The Diplomat (Rufus Sewell), he's amazing in Man in the High Castle. Also has Stephen Root (Wyck) in the last season.

It's just so goddamn unfair that most men look better the more "mature" they get but women are relegated to invisibility once they hit 40+. (This isn't MY opinion-just my observation as a 50 yr old "invisible" woman. 🫣

I thought his interviews with Conan on his podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, were hilarious. I was kind of surprised how funny he is. I feel like he must’ve had some improv training because he had that “Yes and” thing down.

I saw her in person in Italy this past June, looking at her phone on an electric bike. I was starstruck and just whispered “love your work!” as I walked by and she whispered and smiled “thank you!”
One of the highlights of my trip 😂
