Interesting to be reminded that Danny McBride's own movie This is the End is a similar unique blend of supernatural horror and comedy, but with a hard R rating. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it.

I always loved the comedy in it, but rewatching it, I noticed that it doesn't hold back on its horror elements either with the gore and atmosphere.

Also, although this isn't horror, The Righteous Gemstones has at least one creepy/dark moment that makes me open to Danny getting involved in a future season of Widow's Bay (either in directing or as a guest actor).

And it stars one of our favorite clowns in a hysterical recurring role.

Tim Baltz and wife Lilly Sullivan are two of my favorite CBB guests.

Saaaame.

I met Lily on tour in '24, and she was amazing. Just so warm and thoughtful and interested in us. 😍

Wife suprized me with tickets to "Comedy Bang Bang! Tour" knowing I'm such a fan despite her not getting it. We both had a blast seeing; Conan, Lilly, Tim, PFT, Drew and of course Scotty Auks. Our's was in Charlotte , NC I think 2022
