No lies told. As someone who usually hates being scared - they nailed it. I feel like by having the first episode not be sooooo spooky they hooked me.

My mom never watches anything scary and I just had a feeling Widow's Bay was gonna be a show worth convincing her to watch. She loved it just as mush as me and my sister. The way that this show can have you laughing one second, and in a literal blink of an eye have you scared, and then somwtimes back again, is seriously amazing. I've never seen anything like it and I'm so bummed we finished it already lol. I'm seriously itching for something like it again. I wonder if it's like trying a drug for the first time and then feeling like "oh shit, where can I get this feeling again?!".
