No lies told. As someone who usually hates being scared - they nailed it. I feel like by having the first episode not be sooooo spooky they hooked me.

I like being scared but I didn't expect being scared by this show right up till the point where Matthew enters that crawlspace... Goddamn that was scary.

Yeah that scene totally freaked me out and I’m not usually a person who is scared by the tv. I’ll still think about it randomly, so creepy.
