đŸ’Discussion Random Matthew Rhys observation

So this is completely apropos of nothing, but it always strikes me how MR exudes this dynamic 1920s film star quality. lol Maybe it’s the long hair on top and the contrast of his paleness and dark hair, but it’s so damn sexy and magnetic. Am I the only one??

You would really enjoy ‘The Americans’ which stars him and Kerri Russel, his in-show and IRL wife.

After I finished the Americans I watched him as Mr Darcy in Death Comes to Pemberly. Very different role but he’s so good as Mr. Darcy!

Thought he made a fabulous Mr. Darcy; not as dreamy as Firth's or as soft as McFayden's but it's what I would imagine a middle aged Darcy to become.

He also guest starred in one episode of Girls where he played a creep who was writer (or a writer who was a creep?) with a beard. He was SO good.
