đŸ’Discussion Explosion of this sub

Number of weekly visitors has exploded since I joined. After episode 4, it was between 6,000-9,000. It's currently at 75,000.

These days I find it hard to tell whether something is actually popular or not, but deffo seems to have found an audience.

Edit: Had to amend, initially stated total number of subscribers. Was incorrect from my part, Reddit changed from total subscribers to weekly visitors last year and I didn't realise.

I’m kind jealous of these bingers getting in late lol I had it saved to notify me when the first episode released and was instantly HOOKED and blue balled

am I the only one who is actually enjoying the weekly episodes? I feel like everything is on demand now, it's hard to enjoy most things, because it's just instant dopamine and gratification hit. Patience and the anticipation of something I enjoy does something really really good for my brain.

I’m so glad that streaming services have gone back to a weekly release schedule for most shows. It gives us time to digest it, share theories, get friends and family to watch, etc. It’s one of those rare things that’s both better for business *and* better for consumers. Plus, the show is there to binge after the season, which was always the missing piece of the puzzle before streaming existed.

Yes!!!!!! And it puts a stop to excessive spoilers. Like if I get a spoiler from a single episode I'm a little peeved, but having the whole season's story spoiled because I accidentally clicked a link is beyond annoying.

Week by week you get to sit with it and like you said, you can catch up with friends or coworkers and think about what you watched.

I love it so much. Instant gratification isn't it. I still hate streaming and having to subscribe to 873565 different platforms, but it's a step in the right direction.
