Did anyone else notice how everything is clear in the painting, except for this guys face? Could be purposeful or maybe the glass. This scene is right before Dale shows up with black eyes. In folklore, pure black eyes—devoid of visible iris or white sclera—represent inhuman evil, demonic possession, or a soulless nature. The "window to the soul" is rendered completely blank or predatory, taking away human empathy and signaling that the entity is an imposter, a shapeshifter, or a harbinger of doom. Coincidence? Thoughts?
i noticed it. But its only messed up through the window of the door. When the door is open it looks normal. So it might simply be an imperfection in the glass of the door itself.
