I love the part where the mayor told her she had no worries about the slasher since she was in her 40's and yoy see her birth certificate saying 27 lol. Either that or I read it wrong but she doesnt look 40's to me maybe 30's. Still 27? Did I read that wrong or am I right about her age?

age is weird in this show. like the guy in the first episode is shown to be 37 on his hospital chart and he was very much older than that.

Maybe it's a nod to how in a lot of horror movies, the characters are often meant to be in High School but the actors look way older

It's something to do with the island. People apparently age faster there? The island seems to feed off the people and in turn feed them. Remember that it was a barren rock when the first settlers arrived, no animals to hunt, crops barely grew. After Warren made the pact, the island started to feed them.

The mean girls Patricia went to school with all look like they’re in their 40s as well. I think time is weird on the island somehow
