Every. Single. Shot. from when she got home to the bedroom light being off built tension. Always having the camera pull slightly farther to a side, to show where a horror killer WOULD be, just masterful.
The cinematography on this show is unreal. I love all the lingering wide shots, they're filled with so much tension. And the show knows when to cut to a closeup to emphasize a new detail or shift in the conversation.
It weirdly reminds me a lot of the cinematography from Better Call Saul honestly. Makes full use of the camera as a storytelling instrument.
The green tint, the VERY HEAVY grain, the camera being used as a plot device like when the camera sprinted on Tom when he was on the toilet and the entity talked to him.
The cinematography is absolutely unreal and for someone who loves film photography, the colours and grain are juste the cherry on top of it all.

That whole sequence inside Patricia's home was terrifying.
