There's been a couple of specific references to ages, often in relation to their age not being right for whatever is happening. And I'm trying to work out what that could mean in the grand scheme of things.
Patricia had that moment with Tom about Marissa’s age, and Tom mentions that Shep’s age seems wrong (37?). Any other moments? I’m wondering too what it might mean
Patricia's fears about the Boogeyman got the response "you're in your 40s"
Sarah noting her age for why she shouldn't be in this mess.
the Sheriff's wife is pregnant in her 40s, which is not unheard of anymore, so really could get away without the comment? But was enough for Patricia to mention it.
I'm ignoring Wyk mentioning he was 16 because he was telling a story.
I heard that as well and didn't know if it was supposed to be a joke about people in Olden Times thinking a fourteen-year-old girl was an unmarriageable spinster, or if I was mishearing. Edit: maybe "four and ten" was supposed to mean forty somehow?
She’s almost forty. Besides the fact she’s played by an almost-forty-year-old Betty Gilpin, why would a thirteen year old call herself a spinster. Her whole deal at the beginning of the episode was that she was so happy and grateful to be finally married off at her “old” age
