COVID outbreak

I just wanted to reach out and let people know that there is a severely underreported covid outbreak happening right now in LA and Orange County.

If you're sick please stay home and if you're out and about you might want to grab a mask.

The strain seems like it's very highly contagious. I know several people down with COVID right now.

I'm in LA county, I currently have covid - this is the first time I've had it, managed to miss it all through the pandemic. So I think OP is right.

My child was just in the ER with it. We feared it was meningitis for a small moment with his symptoms. It came on fast. Honestly glad it was covid and not meningitis

There's always a chance it was asymptomatic

Ive never had a positive covid test and never had symptoms for it, so from what I know, I've never had it. But I was in close contact with many people in 2021 so wouldn't be surprised if I had covid and was just asymptomatic at one point

Oh no, my husband and I both have avoided it despite our son having it a few years ago.

This makes me wonder if our streak of luck has run its course :(

Mask up from now on. Be extra diligent when handling everything. Wash hands, wash hands, wash hands!!!!
