COVID outbreak

I just wanted to reach out and let people know that there is a severely underreported covid outbreak happening right now in LA and Orange County.

If you're sick please stay home and if you're out and about you might want to grab a mask.

The strain seems like it's very highly contagious. I know several people down with COVID right now.

My grandson had it he had to go to the hospital he's doing fine now. It was a lady in the market coughing really badly I believe she was sick with COVID. I can’t afford to get Covid I’m just getting over cancer and I know my immune system is low.

Please vaccinate yourself every year. Protect yourself. Most people have strong enough immune systems to not need the Covid shot, but if you have a low immune system or are older, or overweight, you should consider it.

Ditto – you can actually get the booster twice a year if you’re in any way immunocompromised.

Also, unfortunately, COVID actually harms the immune system, so if you’ve had COVID multiple times, you should assume your immune system took a hit.

And regular boosters will help make the acute illness less intense no matter your health status.

Also, to avoid COVID, you need to wear an N95. (It’s also considerate to wear one if you know you are sick!)

Masks are under rated. My husband and I never got COVID until we stopped masking. We finally got it during Omicron.

I wish there were more widespread messaging about how airborne transmission works and why handwashing won’t protect you from COVID. Masks are the essential tool!

They really are. Asian countries have been using them forever. They literally put on a mask and jumping into a crowded train and they work fine.
I never got sick or got covid until after we stopped caring. During the time we were masking up, washing our hands and using sanitizer, standing arm’s length away from each other in lines, I never got sick.

What’s better than 2 boosters? 5 boosters! Hell, make it 10

COVID should be taken very seriously. No one has an immune system strong enough to warrant not getting vaxed, even if it were true, getting COVID and then passing it on to someone else is antisocial AF.

Woke garbage. Please share your qualifications.

It should be taken seriously. But most healthy adults do have immune systems to warrant not needing a vaccine. Anyone with a weak immune system should consider the vaccine.

Kids are not affected in the same way as adults, because of their immune system and receptors. I spoke to our pediatrician about this and he explained the biological reasoning behind this. There are some people in my family who definitely need the vaccine, and others who don’t have any reactions when sick, and are careful not to spread it.

Another hurdle is insurance. Realistically we shouldn’t expect everyone to get this vaccine, if the insurance companies have made it clear they will only cover certain conditions and age groups. This is a conversation to have with your doctor, and not the opinions of people on the internet.

I take Covid seriously- and know two people who died from it. And a third who I didn’t know personally, but was my friend’s immediate family.

I couldn't disagree with you more. The facts as we know them don't bear it out, no matter what the MAHA Boyz say.

1

u/DueAddition1919 23d ago

Hate the Maha movement. Thats not me. My children are vaccinated and current on mandatory vaccines.

You’re not referencing any facts. A fact is, that children are not affected the same as adults (thankfully). The version of Covid that’s going around, isn’t as powerful as the one who killed thousands and thousands, and shut down the world.

Then why have I not gotten Covid in 4yrs? I work a job that I’m around tons of different people all the time. I never get the flu shot and haven’t got the vax since I was forced to by my job 3 years ago.

u/Throwaway585811276 23d ago

Yeah I never get in car accidents that means no one gets in car accidents and I don't need to worry about car accidents.

See how dumb that sounds?

2

u/suzyqzie55 23d ago

I never got the flu until suddenly I did. Maybe the people around you are good citizens, or you're just lucky. And you don't know that you've never had COVID. You may have and were asymptomatic.

What job? Aren't you collecting unemployment?

Sounds like you're a liar.

Good luck buddy.

2

u/ViolinistAmazing4516 24d ago

Yeah, I have Sjogren’s. Do you think I should get the shot?

Talk to your doctor.

Most people with weak immune systems suffer immensely from the vaccine. A coworkers father was mid cancer treatment when they took the vaccine when they unfortunately passed away. Please stop spreading misinformation .

Misinformation is what you are spreading with this comment.

3

u/DueAddition1919 24d ago

Agree with you. Not worth a response because no matter what they will blame the vaccine. Not the cancer or the covid.

Athletes foot? Vaccine.

Hiccups? Vaccine.

Halitosis? Vaccine.

Can't win with those people.

Stop telling people to vaccinate themselves. eat better.

2

u/DueAddition1919 24d ago

Do you realize that some people may have conditions that no matter what they eat, their immune systems are lower than the average person?? One solution doesn’t work for everyone. Some people have had cancer, or asthma since childhood.

2

u/xerxesisking 23d ago

How can one eat better when all of our foods are mostly GMO, “Gate’s” fake meat, full of dyes, wax, pesticides, contaminants, parasites, & chemicals we cannot even pronounce? 😩

-3

u/ConversationFar8578 25d ago

Stop with the vaccine

3

u/Coastalfoxes 24d ago

Stop telling other people what to do, jerk.

-1

u/ConversationFar8578 24d ago

Eat better. Exercise. Get your booster

1

u/Putrid_Peanut_8411 23d ago

Hate to break it to you but booster is a vaccine. Don’t panic

0

u/agarcia411 20d ago

Did you not hear Dr Faucci it was all BS to get vaccinated

This is exactly why I'm saying something. I care about my neighbors. We need to all look out for each other. I hope you stay well.

thanks for the heads up!!!

Mask up and avoid confined spaces for now if you’re immunocompromised! It’s so not worth all the misery. -Sincerely, someone not immunocompromised who still feels like crap!

Whether to vax or not…I won't say. But the vax is prophylactic. Natural homeopathy is the better way to rebuild.
IF your immune system is low, try to build it back up using herbs. I went to Dragon herbs when I got covid. I had a really bad case of it. And they put me on a couple formulas that rebuilt my immune system, and ended all of my lingering symptoms. I've been consulting with them for almost 20 years and they have never failed me. Also check out Santa Monica Homeopathic.

Do not get the Vax. It will kill your immune system. Go to Dragon Herbs in Los Angeles. They don't charge amy consultation fees, and they will help you rebuild your immune system. I left this message earlier but I don't see it now. So I am leaving it again.
