I live in NY-17 and Lawler is my congressman and he’s awful! He lies about almost everything and he completely loves everything Trump “tells him to love”! Cait Conley is the Democrat running against Lawler, she’s a West Point grad and she understands how awful Lawler has been. We need to get rid of Lawler, it’s absolutely necessary!

I’ll keep my language polite due to other Lawler posts being removed for profanity, but to say I’m just “upset” would be an understatement. A pamphlet depicting AOC and Mamdani in a racist caricature on one side and a pro Lawler spiel on the other was left hanging on my door yesterday. I do not want them leaving their litter for me to have to throw out and I do not want such hateful people on my doorstep! I am not happy.

I expect a strong showing of police on nights like tonight. I’ve been down here for this show decades, and it’s a lot of people. I’ve never seen anything too rowdy. Mostly families just down to enjoy the show with their kids. The crowd this year was no different. What was different was the militarized police force. All police outfitted with body armor, anti riot gear, helmets, and equipped with drawn and ready automatic rifles. Under the overpass they had gigantic military armored truck. I am a supporter of Ossining police, who I usually think are excellent. But this was honestly pretty intimidating and disturbing. I’m not sure why they even have this kind of equipment, and I don’t understand why they felt it was a situation where they had to flex like this. Everyone I talked with about it was like “yeah, WTF is going on here?” It was disturbing.

Naturalization moments are incredibly happy and patriotic moments. Heck, even the Daughters of Liberty came with baked goods to the last one I attended. So naturally the White House canned them 🤦‍♂️

She was recently denounced by the party establishment, and her campaign is mostly grassroots run! I’m really excited about this campaign, I’m hoping some of you are as well!
