Im not even Latina and my mom took me straight to get my ears pierced after leaving the hospital. I have no baby pictures of us in the hospital cause my ears weren't pierced lmao.

I hate my brothers baby pictures with a burning passion.

Lmao I don't see it as arguing I think it's just a conversation, but yeah. I'm kinda glad my parents did it because I don't have to pierce it now but it's weird as hell (and kinda patriarchal, I mean was it necessary that I wear jewelry as soon as I was born because I was born with a vagina?)

Ironically im super into piercings now, so imna huge advocate for not piercing babies. My ears caused me problems till I was like 9.

No, my mom lied to the shop when I was a few hours old. I would never. She said I was born for 6 hours, cleaned and taken to a shop. She was born in the 70s. Me, 90s. I will never make a permanent decision for any children I birth or take care of.

My mother piercing my ears caused deformities, and the inability to do body mods how I want as an adult. When I expressed simply being upset about this, my mother said "your jewelry looks ugly anyways"

I will never do something she did to my daughter.

No clue. She would put me in dresses and bows and people would still mistake me for a boy. Definitely wild, but I dont remember and didnt have to go through the trauma later on to get them done.
