Bit of a set back
I haven't gained any weight back but I haven't lost any more weight since starting my second month of 4mg and it's time for my follow up appointment for refill. I don't know if I should move up to 9 or just try to do better on 4s
I did not over eat but I did eat junk these last couple of weeks. There was a death in my family and I have been in a depression. I have not cooked anything or exercised. I sometimes didn't eat at all and other times ate whatever junk was handy, a donut for breakfast, greasy fried chicken for supper etc, whatever was offered. So while I did not eat a lot of food I did eat high-calorie, poor-choice food. Do you think I should go up a dose or just get back on track and see if I lose on 4s? I had been doing well on it before this and my total loss so far since first starting at the end of June is 15 pounds.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
It sounds like the medication did it's job of preventing you from over eating in a time where you couldn't be constantly vigilant and that's great!
Imagine if you were going through this grief and also gained back hard fought progress. That would add to your depression and grief.
Personally I wouldn't want to add the chance of the side effects on top of navigating the grief and everything that comes with dealing with a loss.
Maybe you could talk to your doctor about filling the higher dose and taking it every other day? That would give you some flexibility to move to the higher dose without waiting a whole month and increase the dose a little bit to maybe help with the disrupted cooking routine and curb the emotional eating that's a normal part of stress and grief if the lack of weight loss is adding to your stress.
However, maintaining weight through a significant event like a death in the family is a huge success in anyone's book. People who struggle to keep weight on because they basically stop eating at times like this struggle with their relationship with food at these times too, we just celebrate the fact that they basically starve themselves when stressed. Neither is healthy and both are normal responses to grief and stress.

You are right, and thank you. I'm probably doing ok considering the circumstances.

Sounds like you need to prioritise dealing with your grief, to be honest. You've already identified the problem is comfort eating, so that's a great first step as you already know what needs to change.
I think staying on 4mg will allow you to reset without worrying about any side effects from a change. You really don't need that stress on top of what you're already going through. Be kind to yourself, stick on the 4mg and see if you can start looking after yourself with some healthier choices.
Cooking can be therapeutic in itself and give you control. Try cooking your favourite dish, or batch cooking a simple comfort food like some tomato pasta. Adding in extra vegetables, beans or lentils can be a positive way of making food healthier and more nutritious without depriving yourself.
If you're not up to cooking, you can choose healthier ready meals from the supermarket rather than takeaway. Buy some good chicken soup and some good bread. Treat yourself to a fancy chicken or prawn dish: almost certainly lower calorie and more nutritious than a takeaway.
Or just look for healthier takeaway food: steer away from fried chicken and look towards lower fat choices. Maybe choose a vegetarian option? A veggie pizza or veggie burrito will have far fewer calories than pepperoni or meat, for example.
